This is a popular restaurant where you usually have to wait for more than 30 minutes even on weekdays.
Luckily on this day, even after 12:00 during the peak lunch time, there were only 2 people in line and it was pretty empty.
According to the staff, the line is thinner on rainy days.
Inside the store, the 1st floor has counter seats and a small raised area, and the 2nd floor is a tatami room.
When I visited last year, the situation was ``here』。
Last year, I visited before they opened at 10:50, and there was a line of about 20 people at that time.
I managed to get in on the first round, but it took 30 minutes to be served and about an hour including the meal time.
So I think this visit is quite a rare case.

The only menu available for lunch is the grilled mackerel set meal, so you can get the set meal even if you don't order anything.
Even during the day, you can order drinks such as beer, which you order verbally to the staff.
At night, it serves as an izakaya, and in addition to grilled mackerel, they also serve a la carte dishes.
I would definitely like to visit the night business.
Saba no Ichimaiyaki Teishoku (Grilled Whole Mackerel Set)
Without saying anything, we said, ``Grilled mackerel set meal (1,100 yen)''.
It takes some time to serve the food because each piece is baked one by one, but since they were checking the number of people in line and when they were leaving the store, the food was served relatively quickly on this day, about 5 minutes after we were seated.
The meal consists of grilled mackerel, cold tofu, pickles, rice, and miso soup.
One refill of rice is free.

Saba no Ichimaiyaki (Grilled Whole Mackerel)
The fatty belly area looks like it's drinking mackerel juice.
The meat becomes firmer towards the back and tail, but you can still feel the fat.
Even so, it has a lot of volume.
When you get tired of the taste, eating it with soy sauce or grated radish on the table will reset the taste and the inside of your mouth, and you can enjoy it again.
Hiyayakko (Chilled Tofu)
Although it is plain, cold tofu is also delicious.
You can really feel the taste of tofu or soybeans.
Gohan (Rice)
I forgot to take a picture of it alone, but it's fluffy and delicious.
This was my second lunch, so I didn't get a refill. .
Miso Shiru (Miso Soup)
White miso base with dashi soup and sweet taste.
Does the sweetness come from the white miso? . ?
It's delicious, so I'm just curious to make it at home.

Oh, it was delicious.
It is rare to find mackerel with such juicy fat.
As I thought last year, this grilled mackerel is the most delicious grilled mackerel in my life.
When I visited last year, the price was 1,000 yen, but this year the price has increased by 100 yen to 1,100 yen, although the contents of the set meal have not changed.
Still, the volume and taste are good for the money, so I would like to visit again next year.
If you like mackerel, be sure to visit, even if you are prepared to wait a bit in line.
