Wellbe Sakae
『Whiskey Lovers Nagoya 2025” I came to Nagoya to participate in the event.
Usually we visit over three days, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, but this time we started traveling by night bus on Thursday night, arrived in Ise on Friday, and after visiting Ise and enjoying gourmet food, we moved on to Nagoya.
The state of the night bus is ``here』。

The state of the Ise pilgrimage is ``here』。

Today we will be staying at ``Wellbe Sakae”.
Speaking of Nagoya's sauna, it is WellBe, and the drama ``sa roadIt is a sauna facility that represents not only Nagoya but also Japan.

Welby is currently Sakae, ``Imaike』、『FukuokaThere are 3 stores.

I usually stay at Imaike, but this time I stayed at Sakae for just one night, so I will write a review.
sauna
There are two types of saunas.
- finnish sauna
- Mori no Sauna (Forest Sauna)
A sauna mat and sauna pants are placed in front of each sauna room, and you can take either one (both are OK) and put a mat underneath.
finnish sauna
The main and largest sauna has a TV.
When you enter, it is divided into a right side and a left side, and you can watch TV on the right side, and you can't watch TV on the left side.
By using directional speakers, the TV audio can only be heard by the person who can see the TV on the right side.
I think each person has their own opinion on whether or not there is a TV, but it accommodates both needs.
The side on the left where you cannot watch the TV is connected to the bathroom, and although no one can come or go from there, it protects the air and appropriate humidity.
Löyly (Aufguss)
Loryu (Aufguss) is also performed in this sauna.
Events are held every 1 to 2 hours depending on the time of day, such as 7:30 (weekdays only), 8:30, and 10:30 in the morning, and 14:30, 15:30, 16:30, 18:30, 20:30, 22:30, and 23:30 after noon, so you need to be sure of the opening times.
I was able to receive it once during my stay, and it was thoroughly steamed.
It's especially popular at night, so you'll probably need to reserve a spot about 10 minutes in advance.
Mori no Sauna (Forest Sauna)
This is a sauna where you can self-roll.
When I visited a few years ago, there was too much self-rolling, and the humidity in the room was so high that even when I poured water on the sauna stone, it didn't make a sizzling sound. .
When I visited this time, the ventilation had been improved, and I could hear a proper sizzling sound and could feel the humidity rising.
water bath
There are 3 types of cold baths and an ice sauna.
- water bath
- Water bath (warm)
- lapland
- freezing room
water bath
The round bathtub in the foreground of the image is the main water bath, and the water temperature is around 13℃.
Considering the size, I think it can accommodate about 4 people with plenty of room.
Water bath (warm)
There is a water bath that looks like a heated pool on the right side of the image, and the temperature is around 25℃.
The size is large enough to accommodate more than 5 people, and there are plastic chairs and deck chairs.
I used this after taking a cold bath, or when the cold bath or rest area was crowded after a row.
lapland
There are also single water baths in Lapland with a temperature of around 3℃.
Lately, I've been refraining from playing singles due to the strain on my body, so I didn't use it this time.
It fully meets the needs of advanced sauna users.
frozen sauna
There is also a frozen sauna where the room temperature is around 5℃.
If you take a short bath before leaving the bathhouse, you will be able to stay comfortably without sweating even if you are wearing indoor clothes.
rest spot
There is one rest spot between the cold bath and cold bath (warm), where there is a chair that can be flattened like an infinity chair, and a space to lie down.
There are chairs at the back of the forest sauna as well as chairs that can be made flat.
After Roryu, it may become crowded and you may not be able to find a seat, but I think you can usually find a seat somewhere.
bath
The bathroom is slightly visible on the right side of the image, and there is one larger one.
It is divided into a place with a vibra and a place with regular hot water.
capsule hotel
This time, we used a high-resilience type mattress on the top of the capsule.
The facilities inside the capsule are the usual ones: lighting, TV, and electrical outlets.
When making a reservation, you can choose between the upper or lower capsule tier.
At Imaike, you could choose the type of mattress (low-repulsion, high-repulsion, body pressure dispersion), but at Sakae, it seems that only high-repulsion is available.
The price is the same between the upper and lower tiers, so I think it's best to choose the one you like.
The curtains are mesh, so if you turn off the lights inside the capsule, some light from outside will leak through.
There is no soundproofing, so you can still hear snoring.
For an additional 2,000 to 3,000 yen, you can also get a semi-private premium room.
The capsule room and locker room for capsule guests are on the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor is the bathroom and restaurant.
You basically have to go up and down the stairs, so if you have bad legs, be careful, but there's no waiting for elevators, so I didn't have to worry about getting around.
Problem: Locker width is narrow
The common problem with Welby is that the locker width is narrow.
Not only suitcases, but even large backpacks may not be able to be placed in lockers.
There are a limited number of wide lockers near the locker room, and if you ask the front desk, they will lend you the key and you can use them.
restaurant
Sakae's menu is not as extensive as Imaike's, but I get the impression that it has a decent selection.
drink set
A set of draft beer and offal teppanyaki.Drinking set (1,200 yen)” I ordered.
The brand of draft beer is Kirin Ichiban Shibori, and the mugs are ice cold.
Hormone Teppanyaki also arrived about 3 minutes after the beer arrived.
The iron plate is also thoroughly heated, making a sound similar to sizzling.
The thick sauce is perfect for after a sweaty sauna.
large fried oysters
Next is “2 large fried oysters (590 yen)”.
You can order a minimum of 2 items.
It was firm and creamy and delicious.
fried horse mackerel
Even if it continues, it's fried food.Fried horse mackerel (380 yen)”.
You can order 1 or 2 pieces, but I asked for 1 piece.
In the case of 2 pieces, it seems to be a little cheaper at 680 yen.
Although it was a little small in size, it was delicious with no smell and a strong flavor.
After this, I plan to go out and drink again, so this is it.
breakfast
Breakfast is free for capsule guests.
It's a buffet style, so I can't say that there are a wide variety of side dishes, but I think it's enough.
customer base
The customer base seems to be young, mainly in their 20s and 30s.
So I could see some conversations inside the sauna and bathroom.
It's not very noisy, probably because store staff come periodically to collect towels, etc., so I think it's tolerable.
Overall Assessment
I think Welbe Sakae is a very good sauna facility.
If you look purely at the sauna, I think it's the best in Wellbe.
Personally, I place a lot of importance on baths, so if I were to make an overall judgment, I would prefer Imaike where you can enjoy hot springs and outdoor air bathing. .
It's close to Nishiki, the nighttime downtown area, so it might be a good idea to use either Sakae or Imaike depending on what you have to do that day or the next day.
I would like to use it again when visiting Nagoya.

■Price list
This time I visited as a capsule stay, but of course it is also possible to use it for a day trip.
For capsule accommodation, accommodation costs start from 4,400 yen on the official website.
『Rakuten Travel' is priced from 4,600 yen, which is slightly higher than the official website, so unless you want to increase the SPU multiplier or use Rakuten points, it seems better to make a reservation from the official website.
