Kizunaya
After enjoying a glass of whiskey at the bar in Ikebukuro that I always go to, I finished off with ``Kizunaya” I came to.
Chinami ``Kizunaya” is read.
Not long ago, long lines were the norm, and waiting times ranged from 30 minutes to an hour, so much so that I almost gave up on waiting in line.
Lately, the line has been calming down, and perhaps because it was 9pm on a weekday, it was a good timing with only one person waiting.
Purchase a meal ticket and connect in line.
Only cash can be used at the ticket machine.
Instead of being guided immediately when a seat becomes available, seats are replaced in batches of 5 to 10 people.
So, I had to wait for about 10 minutes, and by that time there were about 10 people in line behind me.
It seems like the timing was really good.
You will be guided into the restaurant, and within 5 minutes of being seated, your bowl will be served.
Ramen + rice
This time, “Ramen (780 yen)” and “Rice (150 yen)”.
I usually make a special ramen with extra toppings such as seaweed, pork, seaweed, and egg to enhance the whole thing, but since I was pretty drunk and wasn't that hungry, I kept it to a minimum and just had ramen and rice.
To customize your ramen,Hard and Koime” I asked.
First, let's start with the soup. .
It has a rich flavor just as ordered.
Although you can feel the base of tonkotsu, I think it tastes more like soy sauce.
Next is the noodles.
This is also boiled just as you ordered.
The outside has a chewy texture, and the center has an al dente texture with a slight core.
The chashu has a slightly smoky taste.
By soaking it in the soup and eating it, it becomes perfectly soft.
It's a normal ramen, but I'm glad that there are two pieces of chashu by default.
The rice was a little hard, or rather, it felt like it was cooked in a large capacity rice cooker, so there were some parts that felt a little undercooked.
Although rice is important in my family, we always add soup afterward, so how well it's cooked isn't really important.
It just needs to be there.
First, wrap it in seaweed or char siu and continue eating.
Refills of rice are free.
I wasn't very hungry, but I ended up having another refill.
For the second bowl, top with the garlic and bean sauce on the table, add a little soup, and stir.
You can taste happiness for only 930 yen.
In addition to Kizunaya, Iekei Ramen is located at the west exit of Ikebukuro.Musashiya Ikebukuro store』、『
Ikebukuro store” There are 3 stores.
Although they share the same genre, each restaurant has different flavors, such as stronger soy sauce and creamier tonkotsu, and personally, I think all three restaurants are delicious.
Needless to say, there are many ramen shops in Ikebukuro other than Iekei, and there are also many other shops that are perfect for finishing off your meal.
I go to Ikebukuro regularly, so I would like to introduce it to you again.
