I visited at 2:30 pm, past lunch time, and it was so popular that there was a 40 minute wait.

I was looking at a book I was interested in at Junkudo, which is also on the 5th floor, and was looking at sake and wine at Vinos Yamazaki on the 1st floor, and in no time it was near my number, so I went back to Sawayaka.
Initially, the wait time was estimated to be about 40 minutes, but in reality, I think it took about 30 minutes to be seated.

I think this is the reason why Sawayaka is so popular.
The garnished vegetables are potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and although it's hidden in the photo, there's also pumpkin.
Surprisingly, these are also delicious.
You can choose rice or bread for the set.
Since this is my first meal today, I choose rice.
I paid an additional 440 yen and ordered a large serving of garlic rice.
I was imagining garlic rice like you'd get at a teppanyaki or steak restaurant, but it was more like minced meat with a hint of garlic on top of white rice.
It was so delicious that it could have been a complete bowl on its own, but since you could taste the meatiness with the hamburger steak, I couldn't help but feel that it was a little extra. .

As expected, it was refreshing and delicious.
I changed to garlic rice, so it cost about 1,800 yen, but I'm happy to be able to eat such a thick piece of meat at this price range.
The wait time was 30 minutes, the serving time was 10 minutes, and the meal time was 20 minutes, so it took about an hour in total.
This time I visited at 14:30, a time that could hardly be considered lunch or dinner, so I think that was all I could manage.
During lunch and dinner hours, the waiting time can be over an hour, and the total wait time can be nearly two hours, so we recommend that you arrive with plenty of time to spare.
Although it is likely to take some time, I think this is a restaurant that you should visit at least once when you visit Shizuoka.
