Visit and Queue Information
Date of visit: September 2025 (Holiday)
Visiting time: 10:30
Line: Approximately 10 people (no waiting time due to TableCheck reservations)
Crowd status: Store full
Seat: table seat
It's a popular store so there's bound to be a line.
If it's early in the day when it just opens, it'll take about 30 minutes, but during peak hours like lunch time, it seems like you'll have to wait longer than that.
There is a reservation fee of 390 yen, butTableCheckYou can make a reservation from ”, so if you don't want to wait, we recommend making a reservation before visiting.
Strictly speaking, it's a FastPass, so there may be a wait.
The reservation difficulty level is low, and I think you can make a reservation for the time you want even on Saturdays and Sundays.
This time I made a reservation for the 10:30 time slot and visited.
When you make a reservation, you don't have to wait in line and just speak directly to the staff before entering.
Ordering and Payment
Payment method: cash only
Menu
The menu consists of soy sauce, salt, tandan noodles, tsukemen, and rice.
Special Chinese soba soy sauce + half duck bowl
This time, “Special Chinese soba soy sauce (1,800 yen)” and “Half duck bowl (300 yen)” was selected.
A reservation fee of 390 yen will be added to this, so the total will be 2,490 yen.
After being shown to our seats, it took about 5 minutes for the bowl to arrive.
Let's get it then.
Soup
You can feel the aroma of duck, the taste similar to wild lamb, and the richness and sharpness of soy sauce.
On the aftertaste, you can feel the sweetness of duck fat and the soup stock of kelp and dried sardines, just like after eating duck hotpot.
It has a complex taste of duck, soy sauce, and soup stock, giving it a multi-layered flavor.
Noodles
It is a flat type of thick noodles.
If you look closely, it is divided into three layers, and if you taste it carefully, you will notice that the texture is different between the center and the outside.
The moment you put it in your mouth, you get a strong impression of the taste of soup, but if you chew it thoroughly, you can smell the wheat.
Char siu: loin
Is it the loin part?
Although it is small in size, the pork is cut into thick pieces, and the meat is rich in flavor and fat.
Char siu: rose
It also includes pork belly with different parts.
The fatty part on the outside has a crispy texture, while the meat and fat inside have a chewy texture.
The quality of the pasteurization is amazing.
Wonton
The dough is smooth and has the texture you like.
Personally, I like that the filling has a meaty texture, doesn't taste like vegetables, and doesn't look like gyoza.
Separate plate
Duck, chicken breast, and pork chashu are served on separate plates.
Mustard, wasabi, salt, egg yolk, kaeshi and other seasonings are available in abundance.
It's a shame that wasabi comes in tubes or powder. .
Since I'm paying 100 yen or 200 yen for it, I would like it to be real wasabi. .
Afterwards, I would like to have beer or other alcoholic beverages with this as a snack, but unfortunately, alcoholic beverages are not on the menu, probably to prevent people from staying too long. .
duck
It has a plump texture and rich flavor.
I didn't feel the wild taste that I felt in the soup.
chicken breast
It's moist and doesn't feel dry.
It looks like an elegant salad chicken.
pig
It feels a little dry and the fat has solidified.
I think it's best to warm this up with soup before eating.
Half duck bowl
First of all, I'm thankful that there is an option of being half-Japanese.
The duck meat has a similar taste to the other dish I mentioned earlier.
For 300 yen, you can enjoy a hearty meal, so I think it's a must-order if you want to enjoy duck meat to your heart's content.
It's also delicious when eaten with leftover egg yolk.
Impressions and Rating
Kamofuku was delicious.
I was surprised by the variety of pork, duck, chicken, pork, etc., but the quality of the soup and noodles was also high, and I was satisfied overall.
This year, 2025, I have eaten ramen at several restaurants that cost more than 2,000 yen, but among them, the abundance of chashu is by far the best, so I think it is good value for money.
Well, the location of Hachioji makes it possible, and 2,000 yen for ramen is expensive. .
For both Usagi and Kaku, it made sense that our restaurant would be selected as one of the 100 famous Tabelog restaurants.
Hachioji is a place called Hachioji, and it's a 15-minute walk from Hachioji Station, so it's a bit difficult to visit, but if you visit Hachioji, I highly recommend you visit.
Once every 1 to 2 yearsHachioji Whiskey Street” I will visit Hachioji again next year.
