Tokusei Ramen (Special Ramen)

This time, “Tokusei Ramen (Special Ramen) (1,300 yen)” I asked.

By making it special, it is topped with extra seaweed, Kujo Negi (Green Onions), 1 piece of chashu pork, and a flavored egg.

Regular ramen costs 1,000 yen, so I think it's a good deal if you can add this many toppings for an additional 300 yen.

When I handed over the meal ticket, I was asked about my preference, and I was asked, ``Hard/dark”I made a request.

Also, I was asked if I would like to have rice, so I answered,Medium”I made a request.

Surprisingly, food is free at this store.

It's not a limited-time service like the one only available during lunch time, but it's free all day long.

Furthermore, refills are free, which is a great service given the rising price of rice.

The rice bowl was served in about 10 minutes after handing over the ticket.

So let's have it.

Soup

You can really feel the flavor of the chicken and pork, and it has a slightly sticky viscosity that gives it a rich taste.

As I ordered, it was very salty and I could taste the salt.

Noodles

These are noodles from Sakai Seimen.

It's boiled just as you ordered it to be chewy, and you can really taste the wheat.

As time passes, the texture becomes chewy, so the good thing about ordering it firm is that you can enjoy two different textures.

Chashu (Braised Pork)

The meat is lean and has a chewy texture, but it doesn't feel dry.

Flavored egg

It should be half-cooked.

Rice

The rice was cooked to a slightly flavorful consistency, as if it had been cooked in a large-capacity rice cooker.

As for the rice, it's free so I can't complain...

What makes me happy is that there is a cuppa on the table so you can enjoy as much as you want.

Enjoy it in your favorite way, such as tossing it with flavored eggs or pouring a small amount of soup over it.

Since I paid for it, I will touch on some negative points, but the quality of the seaweed is rather poor...

If you soak it in soup, it will tear easily...

Impressions and Rating

『Budoka Kento'It was delicious.

You can enjoy the rich soup, and the best part is that you get free rice and refills.

The area between Monzen-nakacho, Kiba and Toyocho is surprisingly crowded with many ramen shops, making it a competitive area.

There are several family-run ramen shops in this area, but this is my personal favorite.

I don't think I have many opportunities to visit Toyocho...

It's close to the Koto Driver's License Examination Center, so why not visit when renewing your license?
