Toyosu is also a business district, so on weekday lunchtimes it seems to be crowded with people who work in the area.

If you have time on a weekday, it might be a good idea to visit a little off-peak.

On the other hand, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the number of business customers decreases, and restaurants other than LaLaport are empty, which is the situation for lunch in Toyosu.

We are grateful that they are still open, even though some shops are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays due to a significant decrease in the number of customers.

Ordering and Payment

How to order: Oral order to the store clerk
Payment methods: cash, credit card, various electronic money, QR code

Menu

For lunch, the menu consists of seafood bowl, sashimi, or Tempura.

Large portions of rice are free.

Arajiru (Fish Head and Bone Miso Soup) offers free refills.

Gindara to Tempura Teishoku (Black Cod and Tempura Set Meal)

This time, “Set meal of Gindara (Black Cod) and Tempura (1,580 yen)” I ordered.

So let's have it.

Tempura

Let's start with Tempura.

There are four types of ingredients: shishito peppers, eggplant, shrimp, and squid.

Shishito peppers have a nice bitterness.

I would be happy if such bitter vegetables were included in Tempura.

The eggplant has a melt-in-the-mouth texture.

It goes well with oil and is one of my favorites among Tempura.

The shrimp are crispy.

It's odorless, large, and delicious.

It's been highly rated so far, but the only disappointing thing is the squid.

The squid had a slightly rubbery texture.

Gindara no Saikyo-yaki (Miso-Marinated Grilled Black Cod)

Next is Gindara (Black Cod)'s Saikyoyaki.

It's a specialty of this restaurant, and it's delicious.

There is no odor and you can feel the fat.

The taste of Saikyoyaki miso is also moderate, and it is good that it does not erase the flavor of Gindara (Black Cod).

Miso has a sweetness and richness, but I feel like it enhances the deliciousness of Gindara (Black Cod) rather than making you eat it with miso.

It also goes great with white rice.

Hiyayakko (Chilled Tofu)

Cold tofu is normal.

It's a small bowl that would be nice to have with a set meal.

The main Gindara (Black Cod) and Tempura are solid, so having something refreshing like this will give you a break.

Oshinko (Japanese Pickles)

Oshinko is also ordinary, but it is sufficient as a supporting role in a set meal.

Gohan (Rice)

The rice is cooked normally.

Arajiru (Fish Head and Bone Miso Soup)

Arajiru (Fish Head and Bone Miso Soup) has a strong fish flavor.

I really appreciate that Arajiru (Fish Head and Bone Miso Soup) comes with free refills at lunch.

However, the smell of fish becomes a little more noticeable when it gets lukewarm, so it seems best to eat it while it's still warm.

It's much more satisfying than regular miso soup.

Impressions and Rating

Located in ToyosuAoyuzu Tora ToyosuWe had lunch there.

『Gindara to Tempura Teishoku (Black Cod and Tempura Set Meal)”, and it came with two main items, Gindara (Black Cod) and Tempura, and I was very satisfied with the price.

With Arajiru (Fish Head and Bone Miso Soup), you can really taste the flavor of the fish, and I'm also glad that refills are free.

At 1,580 yen with the volume of this side dish and free refills, I think it's a good value for money for lunch in Toyosu.

If I had to pick a drawback, it would be that there were too many side dishes compared to the volume of rice.

I feel like a free large serving of rice is not enough.

Unless you get one free refill, it's difficult to balance the rice and side dishes.

Or, if they offered Gindara (Black Cod)'s Saikyoyaki set meal for around 1,000 to 1,200 yen without Tempura, it would be much easier to visit.

In any case, I think 1,500 yen is a bit of a luxurious lunch, but I think the satisfaction level is worth the price.
