Visit and Queue Information
Visit date: Saturday, May 2026
Visiting time: Around 17:00
Queue: none
Crowd status: Approximately 70-80% of the store is occupied
Seat: standing bar
The first floor is standing-room only, and the inside of the store is quite noisy.
It has an atmosphere typical of Okachimachi, if you will call it a downtown area.
There are some round tables, but most of the seats are counter seats along the wall, so I think it's a perfect place for one or two people to drink.
Ordering and Payment
Payment method: cash, transportation IC card
The process of ordering is to line up at the register and order snacks and alcohol.
The alcohol menu is posted on the wall and you order verbally at the register, and the snacks are lined up so you can pick up what you like and take it to the register.
Once you've paid your bill and received your drinks and snacks, you can find your favorite seat and start drinking.
If you have your snacks heated, you will be called by the menu name, so listen carefully.
There's a lot of noise inside the store, so you have to be careful not to miss what's being said.
It is a self-service style where you take the drink to the return slot when you finish drinking it.
1 glass of sake + 2 snacks
This time I received a glass of sake and two snacks.
Now, let me introduce you to the menu we received this time.
Tatomo Junmai Ginjo
First of all,Tatomo Junmai Ginjo (650 yen)".
This is Japanese sake from Niigata.
The first impression is that it has a fruity, fruit-like sweetness.
As the temperature rises, you will begin to feel the flavor of the rice.
This is my personal favorite brand.
Tochio's aburage
Next, ``Tochio aburage (300 yen)”.
I forgot to take a photo of the individual item, but it's the one on the bottom right.
Made in the Tochio region, this thick aburage is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
The aburage contains natto and is a soybean/soybean menu, but it is a popular snack in Niigata.
You can have it warmed up if you ask the staff.
By heating it up, the crispy texture of aburage will be restored.
The plump aburage, the flavor of soybeans, and the taste of natto are all mixed with sake.
It is a combination that goes well with Tayu and has a Niigata-like feel.
Bigeye tuna
Next, ``Bigeye tuna buttu (400 yen)”.
Speaking of Yoshiike, you think of fish.
So, I ordered the bigeye tuna.
However, this one had a lot of water content and felt watery.
To be honest, it was no different from the tuna sashimi you find at the supermarket.
The sashimi I bought at Yoshiike is delicious. .
I was a little disappointed as I had high expectations.
However, I think it's not bad for a quick snack while standing.
Impressions
Located in OkachimachiAji no Fue main store” I had a light drink.
The total cost was 1,350 yen with a glass of sake and 2 snacks.
It's run by the Yoshiike Group, so it's great that you can enjoy not only fish but also alcohol and snacks from Niigata.
They have Niigata sake and many Niigata-esque snacks, and as a Niigata native myself, I feel satisfied just looking at the menu.
This is a restaurant that comes to mind when you want a light drink in Okachimachi.
