Tenku no Ajito Marushin Spa
I visited Sasazuka for some business.
Speaking of Sasazuka, “Tenku no Ajito Marushin Spa' So I used it for a day trip.
This is a men's only sauna facility located about 1 minute walk from Sasazuka Station on the Keio Line.
The reception is on the 10th floor of the Marushin Building, and the bathroom is on the 11th floor.
As the name ``Hideout in the Sky'' suggests, it is a hideaway sauna facility located on the upper floor of a building.
Drama “sa road 2019This facility also appeared in the 10th episode of ``The Hideout in the Sky: A Man Crying in the Sky'', and I think it's quite a famous facility among sauna enthusiasts.
Although it was Sunday, I entered the facility just after 10am, just after it opened, and this time I used the short plan for 2 hours, which cost 2,400 yen.

There are two types of saunas.
Private sauna
Before entering the sauna room, remove the beet board and place it underneath.
finnish sauna
The main Finnish sauna is a compact sauna room that can accommodate up to 10 people.
The IKI stove sits in the center, and although it may be an exaggeration to say that it occupies half of the sauna room, it has such a strong presence that I think it occupies about a third.
Even though the room is compact, the heat enters well and it is very hot.
However, the humidity was moderate, so I didn't feel like I was being forced to breathe.
Self-rolling is also possible, so depending on the timing you can enjoy it in pretty good conditions.
As expected from a famous facility, I think the quality of the sauna room is quite high.
Lowry service
Marushin Spa also offers l'aury service depending on the time of day.
On this day, I participated in the 11:00 session.
Due to the popularity of the Loury service, there were about 12 people in the sauna room, including those standing.
Instead of a system where you reserve a spot before the start, you line up in front of the sauna room door before the start.
Under the guidance of the staff, all the people who had already entered the sauna room will be asked to leave, and you will be seated in the order in which you are lined up.
I lined up about 5 minutes early, but was able to participate safely on the first try.
Since it was carried out in two rotations, I don't think you will be unable to receive the service.
Loryu service hours may change depending on the day, so it's a good idea to check the official Instagram and notices in the building before using.
The service was outstanding and the food was well steamed.
Private sauna
Marushin Spa also has a sauna that can be reserved for private use.
According to the official page, it is a private sauna that can be used by 1 to 6 people, and the usage time is 2 hours.
The price is 5,500 yen on weekdays and 6,000 yen on weekends and holidays for 1 person.
There are many facilities that charge the same amount or more for a private sauna for one hour, so considering that you can use it for two hours, I think it's quite cheap.
Since this day was a private release day, we were able to use the sauna for both general and private use.
The interior is quite compact, but it's enough for one person, and it looks like it would be fun to go in with friends.
Since the water bath and rest space are shared, it gives the impression that it is a plan that allows you to use a private sauna room rather than a completely private sauna.
The lead from the private sauna to the cold bath is a little far, but I think it's worth it for this price.
water bath
Speaking of Marushin Spa, it is a facility that has a strong impression of cold baths.
As for the bathtub, the water bath was larger than the bath, and it felt like it could fit about 10 people.
When you first see it, you may think that a cold bath is a warmer bath.
The temperature felt a little high for a water bath in a sauna facility, but I took my time in it.
It's deep, so it's good to be able to cool your body while standing.
I think it's more like relaxing in the softness of underground water as you let the heat out of your body, rather than relaxing all at once with a cold bath.
It goes well with the sauna room, and the flow of taking a cold bath after sauna is a big attraction of Marushin Spa.

There are indoor air baths and outdoor air baths for rest spots.
There were 7 deck chairs and chairs in the bathroom.
The sauna, cold bath, and rest lines are all arranged in a compact space, so it's easy to enjoy the sauna even if you only use it for a short time.
The outdoor bathing space has the feel of a secret base typical of Marushin Spa.
Being able to enjoy the breeze while looking out at Sasazuka's city and railroad tracks from the top floor of the building is an experience you can't easily get at other facilities.
However, because there is a possibility that they could be seen from neighboring apartments, people were currently required to wear only the bottom of their indoor clothes when heading to the outdoor bathing area.
This area also has the feel of a sauna built in a building in the city.
bath
There is also a bath in the bathroom.
However, the bathtub was quite compact, and it felt like it was full enough for about 2 people to fit in.
Since it is a sauna facility, I get the impression that the bath is just a secondary bath.
It seems to be a good idea to warm up your body before going to the sauna, or to finish off by taking a quick bath.
Food and drink
There is also a dining room.
Marushin Spa is also famous for its Sa Meshi, especially Sasazuka Char Siu, which is a menu item that you often hear the name of.
It's quite appealing to pair Sasazuka char siu with beer after sauna.
This time, I didn't use the cafeteria because I was there for a short time, but if you have time, you might want to use the cafeteria as well.
customer base
The age group seemed to be mainly people in their 20s to 40s.
I'm sure there are some people nearby who use it, but since it's a famous facility, there seem to be a lot of people who come just for the Marushin Spa.
There were some people who came in groups, but the bathroom was a silent bathing area.
The staff warned me when I was having a conversation, so I felt comfortable using the service.
It was relatively quiet from the time they opened until around 11am, but after 11am it started to get crowded.
It's a Sunday, so there are some things that can't be helped, but if you want to take your time, I think it's better to aim for early hours or weekdays.
Overall Assessment
Marushin Spa was a good facility near Sasazuka Station where you can enjoy an authentic sauna.
It is not a facility that competes with size or amount of equipment like large facilities.
Overall it's quite compact.
However, the quality of the sauna rooms, cold baths, rest breaks, and louryu services that are necessary for sauna use is high, and I think this is a facility that will impress sauna lovers.
The combination of Finnish sauna and cold bath was especially appealing.
On the other hand, I don't think it is a comprehensive facility for bathing purposes.
Also, since it is a popular facility and the facility is not large, you will probably be more satisfied if you avoid visiting during busy hours.
A private sauna is also a very interesting option considering the price.
I think this is a highly recommended facility for those who want to enjoy the sauna and lory in a short amount of time.
