1st bottle: Single Grain Japanese Whiskey Fuji 50th Anniversary Edition

I think it's full of vanilla flavor and really brings out the goodness of the grain.
It is said that it will be sold in limited quantities at distilleries and other locations from June 25, 2024, but I think this is a bottle worth buying.
First of all, there was a lottery sale and I applied for it, but if I don't get into the lottery, I think I'll go to the distillery and buy it.
2nd bottle: Maltmann Blair Atholl 1992 31 years old

This is a 31-year-old bottle distilled in 1992 in Maltmann's Blair Athol.
The barrel is a bourbon barrel.
I think this is a bottle where you can enjoy both the fruity and barley flavors while also having tropical elements.
The price is high, but I think the 50,000 yen range for the 1992 over 30 years of aging is relatively cheap.
Personally, I was born in 1992, so I would have liked to buy it if possible, but I couldn't. .
Rather than being disappointed that I couldn't buy it, I was surprised to realize that the 92 was 30 years old. .
3rd: The Taster Glenrothes 1992 30 Years Hogshead
This is a 30 year aged bottle distilled in Glenrothes in 1992 from the Scotch malt salesman's The TASTER series.
The Taster is a series in which malt enthusiasts are asked to select barrels and the selected barrels are released, and this time Mr. Yoshimura from M’s Tasting room is in charge.
I tried it and it was delicious so I bought it.
At first it looked hard, but if you leave it on for about 10 minutes, you'll see some tropical elements come out.
I try to buy at least one bottle of whiskey from the year I was born every year, so I was able to purchase one this year as well.
4th bottle: Maltmann Ben Nevis 1998 25 Years Hogshead Noto Charity Bottle

This is a 25 year old Hogshead bottle distilled in 1998 at Maltmann's Ben Nevis.
Released as a charity bottle for the Noto earthquake.
Speaking of Ben Nevis, 1996 is said to be a successful year for distillation, and this one's distillation year is close to 1998.
There is a slight tropical element, and the second half has a nutty element, so I think it has elements similar to 96 Ben Nevis.
The price is not as expensive as 96, so I think it's worth buying.
5th: Dalmore 1992 1931 Four Seasons Series: Winter
Dalmore is a rare bourbon barrel from the Shiki series.
I've tried several types of Dalmore bourbon, but I had the impression that most of them had a honey-like sweetness.
This one has a fruity and tropical feel, so it had a slightly different color than the ones I've had before.
It's a delicious bottle without any unpleasantness, but it costs 130,000 yen per bottle. .
I understand that Islay brands like Macallan and Springbank cost 130,000 yen, but Dalmore costs 130,000 yen. . That's what it feels like. .
Closing Thoughts
This month I went to an event (Tokyo Internal Barshow) and a fair number of bars, but I only had a few introductions.
Still, I think it was a good release, so if you see it at a bar, give it a try.
