Soutei JR Ikebukuro Central Exit Store
Today I finished some errands in Ginza and had a rather late lunch.Homemade Ito Ginza storeAfter eating there, I headed to Ikebukuro.

Since my current location is closer to Shinbashi than going to Ginza 1-chome or Yurakucho, which is on the Yurakucho Line, I decided to take the JR Yamanote Line from Shinbashi to Ikebukuro.
It's a bit long from Shinbashi to Ikebukuro, about 30 minutes, but I was able to secure a seat and head there so it wasn't a problem.
I usually visit Ikebukuro by subway, but it is rare for me to visit Ikebukuro by JR.
Since I took the JR train, I went to the ``Ikebukuro Station'', which I can only go to when visiting Ikebukuro using the JR train.Soutei JR Ikebukuro Station Central Exit” I decided to visit.

When you get off the train at Ikebukuro, you can go underground to the Central 1 ticket gate or the South ticket gate, head towards the toilet, and look along the wall to find it.
In addition to the central one, there is also a central two, but please be careful as this is not the case.
It is difficult to use Google Mapss as a reference inside the station, so if you are not familiar with Ikebukuro Station, it may be difficult to visit. .
Sakura Ebi Kakiage-ten Soba (Soba with Sakura Shrimp Tempura)
As with stand-up soba, there is a ticket system.
And since it's located inside a JR station, you can use Suica.
There were cold soba dishes on the menu, but there was also a warm soba menu.Sakura Ebi Kakiage-ten Soba (Soba with Sakura Shrimp Tempura) (530 yen)” I ordered.
Inside the store, there is no order or return area, and the counter is separated by a vinyl curtain, so all transactions are done from that section.
Water is self-serve, so just hand over your food ticket and go get it.
The rice bowl is served in about 1 minute after handing over the ticket.
I'm glad that not only green onions but also wakame are included as toppings by default.
Soba Noodles
The thickness is normal.
The soup was so thick that it was hard to feel the flavor of the soba, but I could still taste it.
Tsuyu (Dipping Broth)
There was a good amount of bonito stock, and on top of that, the kaeshi had a strong effect, giving it a strong impression.
THE Kanto Natsuyu.
As someone who likes strong flavors, this is my preference.
Kakiage
I felt carrots, burdock, onions, and sakura shrimp.
Although it is not freshly fried, I think the flavor of the sakura shrimp is strong and good.
Impressions
It's been a while since I ate standing soba, and it was delicious.
The air conditioner in the store wasn't working (it wasn't working!?), so it was hot inside. .
The fan was working, but it didn't always blow the air.
Since you eat hot soba in that state, you will sweat while eating it.
However, I personally like this because it gives me a sense of the atmosphere.
By the way, this Soutei is located on the platform of Nagoya Shinkansen station, and is famous for Kishimen.Living is good” It is a company of the same family.

So, you can try the kishimen at Soutei without having to go to Nagoya.
In addition to Ikebukuro Station, there is also a store inside Ueno Station, so while the soba is delicious, we also recommend visiting if you are craving kishimen.
