Curry shop C&C
『Curry shop C&C' is a curry chain that operates mainly in Tokyo.
Speaking of other curry chains,CoCo Ichibanya』、『go go curry』、『Hinoya curry” Is it about that?
I think the only other places that offer curry are local chains, major gyudon restaurants, and family restaurants.
There are many reasons why there aren't many curry chains, but I think some of them include the lack of availability of spices, the difficulty of making ahead of time as the flavor evaporates when simmered, and the high quality of ready-to-eat curry.I would like to visit one of these precious curry chains.
Morning curry B
『Curry shop C&COne of the attractions of `` is that it is open from morning.
Business hours vary depending on the store, but some stores are open from 7:00 a.m., so you can have it for breakfast.
There are two types of breakfast menus available.
- Morning curry A (curry + 1 sausage): 400 yen
- Morning curry B (curry + 1 sausage + soft boiled egg): 500 yen
There is a meal ticket system.
This time, “Morning curry B” I ordered.
After selecting the menu, choose the spiciness.Sweet, medium spicy, dry” and “Medium spicy” was selected.
After purchasing a meal ticket, hand it to the clerk at the food ticket gate.
While cooking, fill up the water with a water dispenser and wait at the serving opening without sitting at your seat.
You can see the cooking process, but all you have to do is pour the rice over, pour the curry on, and add the sausage and eggs, so it will be served in less than a minute.
After being served, move to your favorite seat and eat.
curry
The curry itself has a unique retort-like feel.
It's like something you'd get at a free hotel breakfast.
It's more fruity than spicy, not too spicy, and doesn't have many toppings.
sausage
The sausages are also the boiled type you'd find at hotel breakfasts.
Although it was crisp and juicy, it would probably taste better if you cooked it properly at home.
Soft egg
Soft-boiled eggs are soft-boiled eggs.
Although it was half-boiled, it was well cooked and gave the impression that it was similar to a fake egg in a convenience store lunch box.
When eaten with curry, it gives a mild impression, and I think it's a good change of taste.
Fukujinzuke
Fukujinzuke and sauce are placed on the table.
Fukujinzuke is the red type, and I like Fukujinzuke like CoCo Ichi, but I also like this traditional type.
source
Adding sauce makes it even more fruity.
The curry itself isn't that spicy, but if it's spicy, I think it will soften the spiciness.
Impressions
The curry has a noticeable retort-like taste and is not extremely delicious, so if you are looking for deliciousness without worrying about spending more than 1,000 yen for a cup of curry, I recommend going to another restaurant.
However, if you can eat this for 500 yen, I don't think you can complain.
The toppings themselves can be completed with a hotel breakfast, but the accommodation and breakfast costs will not be enough at 500 yen.
Also, if you were to try to recreate this at home, the convenience store prices would be 150 yen for retort curry, 150 yen for retort rice, 100 yen for one sausage, and 100 yen for a soft-boiled egg, but I think it would cost more than 500 yen.
Furthermore, you have to prepare and clean up the food yourself, but at a restaurant, you can just eat and take your plate to the return slot.
Considering that, I can't complain. .
Also, “Curry shop C&C” often have stores inside or near stations, and the service is fast, so I think it's a good option when you're in a hurry.
Please remember this when you are busy or want to eat something quick.
