Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine
Today I am visiting Monzennakacho.
This is because it is the first shrine visit of the year, and is counted as one of Tokyo's ten shrines.Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine” to visit.
Although the third day has passed, there are still stalls opening like a festival.
The timing of the visit to the shrine was so crowded that a limit on the number of people was put in place to prevent accidents.
After visiting the shrine, there is a ``Fukagawa FudodoI was planning to visit this set, but there was also quite a long line. .
I'll probably have to wait more than 30 minutes, so I'll probably visit another day.
Ramen Benkei Monzen-nakacho
After New Year's visit, let's go to Gohan (Rice) for lunch.
So, ``Ramen Benkei Monzen-nakacho”.

This is a ramen shop with back fat chacha style.
『Ramen Benkei' has its main store in Asakusa, and branches in Monzennakacho, Shin-Koiwa and Horikiri.
New Year's visit is also the purpose of visiting Monzennakacho, but visiting this shop is also one of the purposes, and may even be a major part of it. .
It's been a while since I felt like eating it. .
I visited around 14:00 on a holiday, and there were 2 people waiting.
Ramen
First, purchase a meal ticket at the ticket machine and then connect to the queue.
Only cash was accepted at the ticket machine.
This time, we will introduce the most standard ``Ramen (950 yen)” was selected.
When to collect your meal ticket, give it to the staff when asked.
In my case, I was asked to hand it over immediately after purchasing it, but for others, the timing seems to be different, such as waiting a while after purchasing.
Then, when handing over the meal ticket, I call out, ``Gita Gita, please.''
Cole is ``Sappari (less back fat)/Gitagita (more back fat)' and if you don't say anything, the amount of back fat will be normal.
It seemed like it was time for a change, so I was guided into the store immediately after joining the queue.
The 1st floor seats are standing and are mainly for solo customers, so I was guided to the 1st floor seats.
There is also a 2nd floor with table seating.
It is often guided when there are two or more people.
You can go up the stairs outside the store to the 2nd floor, and purchase food tickets on the 2nd floor.
After being guided into the store, it took less than 10 minutes for the bowl to arrive.
Let's get it then.
Soup
As you can see, it is a chewy soup with a large amount of back fat poured over it.
The sharp taste of soy sauce shines through the chewy and rich taste.
This soy sauce makes it surprisingly easy to eat. .
Please note that if you get carried away and drink a lot of soup, your stomach will start to feel heavy about 20 minutes after eating. .
The vegetables are bean sprouts and green onions.
Both have a crunchy texture.
I prefer to submerge the green onions a little in the soup and let them cook until soft.
Noodles
It is medium thick and has a chewy texture.
It also tastes a bit like egg noodles.
I think it has a strong flavor that can stand up to thicker soups.
Chashu (Braised Pork)
Is it the loin part?
It's cold when served, so I think it's best to soak it in the soup and warm it up.
It had a nice texture that melted when it warmed up.
Impressions
I ate at Ramen Benkei for the first time in a while, and it was delicious.
The Monzen-Nakacho store is open from 11:00 to 4:00, so you can enjoy it for lunch, dinner, or just finishing off your drinks.
When I used to come to Monzennakacho a lot, I would eat at the end of the meal and feel happy, only to regret it when I woke up the next morning.
So, looking back, it may have been the first time I ate it for lunch.
I think it tasted the same as it did back then.
The default is soy sauce, but the menu also includes miso and salt, so I hope to introduce these next time.
