Visit and Queue Information
Visit date: Saturday, May 2025
Visiting time: Around 22:00
Queue: none
Seats: Counter seats only
At the time of my visit, the store was almost full.
Luckily, I was able to enter the restaurant without waiting, but by the time I was eating, there were several people in line.
There are only counter seats, so I think it's a little unsuitable for groups of 3 or more who want to eat in a row.
There were quite a few people from overseas as well.
Tonkotsu ramen is incredibly popular overseas. .

Tonkotsu Ramen
This time I am using it as a finishing touch after drinking at a bar.
The most standard ``Tonkotsu ramen (750 yen)” I ordered.
The rice bowl was served in about 3 minutes after being seated.
Let's get it then.
Soup
The soup is quite creamy and there is no smell of tonkotsu.
In this respect, it can be said that it is a chain restaurant with a taste that will appeal to everyone.
However, rather than tonkotsu, it has a strong impression of being a dairy product, like cream or milk.
There is an adapted recipe for cup ramen made with milk instead of hot water, and to be honest, the taste is very similar to that.
Noodles
When handing over the ticket, you will be asked how hard it is, so I asked for it at first.
The noodles are thin like tonkotsu ramen.
The doneness of the boiling was exactly as ordered, making it hard-boiled, giving it an almost al dente finish.
You can feel the flavor of wheat that is strong against the soup.
Chashu (Braised Pork)
Is it the loin part?
This is char siu with a strong flavor.
Kaedama
The biggest feature of this store is that up to two extra balls are free.
It's not one ball, it's two balls.
Although prices have skyrocketed recently, it is a blessing to be able to get 3 balls of noodles at this price.
By the way, you can order extra balls for 100 yen after the third ball.
I asked for the same degree of boiling.
To get a substitute ball, raise something like a flag on the table to the counter and ask the staff for a substitute ball.
The cooking time depends on how crowded the food is, but it will be served in about 1 to 2 minutes, so please consider how much food you want to eat before ordering.
Kaedama 2
I finished eating the first substitute, so I ordered the second.
I asked for the same degree of boiling.
Actually, let's change the taste for the third cup.
I also added pickled ginger, mustard greens, Japanese cabbage, pepper, and sesame seeds that were on the table.
Other table seasonings include garlic and other necessities unique to tonkotsu ramen.
The addition of salt adds a bit of saltiness to the soup, which was a bit thin.
The sourness of red ginger and the spiciness of mustard greens are added to this, along with the spiciness of pepper and the flavor of sesame seeds, giving it a complex and junky flavor.
Mustard greens are quite spicy, so be careful not to add too much.
Impressions and Rating
Personally, I think it's delicious, but the soup is too creamy and tastes like dairy products, which is a point where tastes differ.
However, the fact that you get 2 extra balls for free is overwhelmingly nice.
This time I used it as a finishing touch, and I was able to go home with a full stomach and a smile on my face.
One bowl of ramen costs 750 yen and comes with two extra balls free, which is cheap, but on the other hand, it can also be said that the price includes two extra balls.
In other words, people who cannot eat two extra balls, such as women and people who eat little, will feel like they are missing out a little.
Same as in Shinbashi, tonkotsu ramen is ``Hakata Tenjin Shinbashi 1st store』、『Hakata Tenjin Shinbashi 2nd store” is nearby.

One bowl of ramen costs 650 yen (the price has increased since the time of my visit), and you get one free extra bowl of ramen.
An additional kaedama is 100 yen, and if you eat two bowls, it's 750 yen, so if you buy kaedama twice, the price will be the same.
Although the taste is not as creamy, the taste is quite similar, so I think you can choose this one depending on the amount you can eat and the condition of your stomach.
Recommended for those who can eat two extra balls or when they want to eat it as a finishing touch or for lunch.
