Located in ToyosuMARA Takumi in Toyosu.
My previous visit was during the restaurant's soft opening.
Because a soft opening may not reflect normal operations, I returned after the official opening to see the restaurant under more typical conditions.
The situation at the time of my last visit was ``here』

Ordering and Payment

Malatang (Spicy Sichuan Hot Pot) + Youniku (Lamb) + Pakuchi (Cilantro) — Approx. ¥1,500
Choose your preferred ingredients; the price is calculated at ¥4.4 per gram.
I chose mostly noodles and added Pakuchi (cilantro) and Youniku (lamb) as extra toppings.
You can choose the broth strength and spice level. As before, I selected Koi-me (Rich)', spiciness is 'Level 3” was selected.
The half-price promotion offered during the soft opening had ended, but a 20% discount campaign was running this time.
The total was approximately ¥1,500.
With the discount, this was relatively inexpensive for malatang.
Without the discount, the price would have felt fairly typical.
So let's have it.
Soup
The soup has a pronounced sesame flavor.
The red chili oil makes it look very spicy, but the heat is not especially strong when tasted.
The numbing sensation stands out more than the heat.
It may be challenging for anyone who dislikes numbing spice, but diners with some tolerance should be comfortable with Level 3.
Noodles
For noodles, I mainly chose Bunmoja (Wide Glass Noodles) and Tomorokoshi-men (Corn Noodles).
Both have an enjoyable chewy texture.
Choosing several types of noodles let me enjoy a variety of textures throughout the meal.
Ingredients
For the ingredients, I selected malatang-style items such as Futama and Gyoran Dango (Fish Roe Balls).
Because ingredients are priced by weight, it is convenient to try small portions of unfamiliar items.
I also added Pakuchi (cilantro) and Youniku (lamb), creating a bowl tailored to my preferences.
Impressions and Rating
Since my previous visit was during the soft opening, I returned to evaluate the restaurant under more typical conditions.
After eating here twice, I would definitely return.
Because diners choose their own noodles, adjusting the quantity should provide a satisfying portion even for those with a larger appetite.
The flavor is authentic malatang rather than an imitation version sometimes found elsewhere.
One detail that concerned me was the tongs used to select ingredients.
The same tongs were used for meat, seafood such as shrimp, and vegetables.
Everything is cooked before serving, so it may not present a practical issue, but the arrangement still made me somewhat concerned about hygiene.
That said, I was satisfied with both the flavor and the price.
My impression remained positive after returning following the soft opening, and I would like to visit again.
