Nagichan ramen

I'm in Shinjuku today for some business.

Before going to work, let's fill up our stomachs.

So, there is a restaurant in Kabukicho.Nagichan ramen” I visited.

ナギチャンラーメン (西武新宿/ラーメン)
★★★☆☆3.65 ■予算(夜):¥1,000~¥1,999

Personally, I've been hooked on ``Chan-kei” This is a shop.

I visited around 12:30 on a Saturday, and although there was no line, the restaurant was nearly full.

Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Ramen)

It is a meal ticket system, and the good thing is that you can use electronic money or credit cards at the ticket machine.

When you visit Chankei, not just this time, the first time you visit is the default ``Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Ramen)”.

So, as usual,Chinese noodles (800 yen)” was selected.

The meal is free, and those who need it should take the tag from the bottom right corner of the ticket machine and hand it over along with the ticket.

The rice bowl arrived in less than 10 minutes, so let's eat it right away.

Soup

I get the impression that the flavor of soy sauce and pork, and the amount of salt are well balanced overall.

It's good in terms of balance, but compared to the Chankei I've eaten so far, I can say it doesn't have any special features.

Noodles

The noodles are flat noodles made by Daruma Seimen.

The chewy texture of the noodles had disappeared, giving me the impression that they were overcooked.

I'm using a timer to boil the noodles, so there doesn't seem to be any variation in the boiling time, but it took quite a while to serve, so I think this was because the noodles were stretching out.

Chashu (Braised Pork)

The soy sauce has a nice kick and the texture doesn't feel dry, so it's so delicious that you can eat as many as you want.

I thought it would be a good idea to make it with char siu noodles and add more char siu.

It goes well with Gohan (Rice), and I think it goes well with alcohol.

Meshi

I think it's normal with no uneven cooking.

There is a cuppa on the table, and you can have as much as you want.

Well, it's free, so there's nothing to complain about.

Impressions

Although the chashu was good, the soup and noodles were nothing special, and the noodles were overcooked, which gave me a bad overall impression.

Being able to get ramen and rice for 800 yen is a good value for money, and the fact that it's open 24 hours is also great.

However, in the same Kabukicho area, 'Ecchan ramen”, and in Shinjuku, “Otakibashi Kumachan Ramen』、『Shinchan Ramen” and 3 other stores.

[Tokyo, Shinjuku] Ecchan Ramen — Chuka Soba + Rice, ¥1,000 [Visited June 2024]
[Tokyo, Shinjuku] Otakibashi Kumachan Ramen — Chuka Soba + Rice, ¥750 [Visited June 2024]

Even if you look at cost performance,Otakibashi Kumachan Ramen', you can eat ramen and rice for 750 yen. .

And then, “Ecchan ramen” is also open almost 24 hours a day. .

It's not that it's bad by any means, but when you compare it to other stores, it doesn't have any special features in terms of taste, price, opening hours, etc. .

So, if you want to eat Chankei in Shinjuku, I think you'll have to go to another store.

I don't think I would visit again unless other stores are temporarily closed or extremely crowded. .
