After that, we moved to Denka Big Swan Stadium and watched Albirex Niigata's home opening match against Nagoya.
I'm from Niigata, so naturally I'm a fan of Albirex Niigata.
Since I live in Tokyo, I don't get to go to the home games much, but I try to attend as many Kanto away games as possible.
The result of the match was a 1-0 victory for Niigata, with a goal from new player Motoki Hasegawa.
Last season, we lost at home and then away at the National Stadium, so we lost to Nagoya, which was a bitter loss, but we left the stadium with a happy face knowing that we had won against Nagoya.

Niigata simple soy sauce ramen
Niigata is surprisingly famous for its ramen, and there are what are known as Niigata's top 5 ramen.

The representative of this Niigata light soy sauce ramen is ``Miyoshiya”.
By the way, the reading is ``Sankiya”.
Miyoshiya has three stores in Niigata city.
The main store is located in the Furumachi area.Miyoshiya Nishibori main store”.
The other store is located near Sekiya station, where the driving school I attended is located.Miyoshiya Shinanomachi store”.
If you are accessing from Niigata Station, you can go to the main store by bus and the Shinanomachi branch by train, so both are not bad for access.
However, the best access from Niigata Station is ``Miyoshiya Ekiminami Keyaki-dori store”.
You can arrive in about 3 minutes on foot from the nearest exit.
So, this time I will visit the Ekiminami Keyaki-dori store.
Miyoshiya Ekiminami Keyaki-dori store
It opened at 17:30 and we arrived around 17:15.
There was one group of customers ahead of me, and I was the second one and had to wait at the store for a while before entering.
Just before opening, there was a line of about 15 people.
The inside of the store has counter seats and table seats, and it's quite spacious, so it seems like everyone who was in line before the store opened was able to get in.
Bin Beeru (Bottled Beer)
First up is Bin Beeru (Bottled Beer).
It's the delicious sake of victory.
It tastes better than usual.
If you order a bottle of beer, you'll receive a complimentary piece of menma and chashu as an appetizer.
I'll say it again.
It's free.
This is like being told to drink alcohol.
The bottled beer itself is not expensive at 550 yen, so don't hesitate to drink it when you visit.
By the way, the alcohol menu only includes bottled beer.
Gyoza is available as a snack menu.
Gyoza also looks delicious, but personally, I don't like it being served at the same time as ramen because it takes a long time to prepare, and it's not limited to this store.
It would have been nice to order bottled beer and gyoza first, and then see when the time was right and finish with ramen, but it was crowded that day, so I didn't order gyoza.
Bean sprout soba
As for the ramen menu, ``Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Ramen)』、『Char siu noodles』、『Bean sprout ramen” and a large serving of them.
We also have hiyashi chuka available only during the summer.
What I order every time is ``Bean sprout soba”.
As the name suggests, bean sprout soba is topped with stir-fried bean sprouts and thinly sliced chashu.
This stir-fried bean sprouts is great as a snack with beer.
The bean sprout soba does not contain menma, but if you order a bottle of beer, you will be served menma as a side dish, so you can satisfy your menma craving.
The stir-fry itself was never oily, and it didn't affect the delicate soup at all.
Noodles
The noodles are curly and quite thin.
These noodles have a smooth texture and are easy to eat.
I was guided to a counter seat so I could see the cooking process.
The noodles were boiled for less than a minute, so I wondered if it was that short. That's what I think.
I asked for a large portion, but I get the impression that the amount is not that large, about 1.5 balls.
Soup
Although the taste is as light as it looks, you can feel the flavor of pork and the flavor of soy sauce, and it has a surprisingly rich taste.
When I think of modern ramen, I think of Jiro-kei and Ikekei.
Apart from such a rich flavor, it has a light flavor that I personally call ``this is okay'' type.
Personally, I think Miyoshi-ya is the representative, top-of-the-line type of restaurant.
I ended up drinking the entire soup, but the good thing about this is that I don't feel guilty about it.
Impressions
Even excluding the fact that Albirex Niigata won, Miyoshiya is still delicious.
By the time we finished eating and left, there was a line of about 10 people.
Since it is such a popular restaurant, you should be prepared to wait in line for a while on Saturdays and Sundays.
Also, please note that business hours are shorter at daytime from 11:00 to 13:30 and at night from 17:30 to 19:30.
Personally, I think it's best to eat Miyoshiya after drinking.
We start drinking at an izakaya a little early, like 4 or 5 p.m., and finish at Miyoshiya.
A must-try when you visit Niigata.
