Queue: About 10 groups waiting, about 30 minutes to 1 hour

Seat: table seat
It's a popular store so there's bound to be a line.
Perhaps because it takes time to grill the fish, or because the serving speed is slow, the wait in line seems to be long.
As you wait in line, you can smell the delicious aroma of breakfast at an inn, so you'll be extremely hungry as you wait. .
We recommend that you visit with plenty of time to spare.
Ordering and Payment
Payment method: cash, PayPay
Menu
Set meals are the main menu.
The biggest feature of this restaurant is that the rice is served in an ohitsu (rice bowl).
Since this is a restaurant that sells rice, I think it's safe to say that onigiri is also the main menu item.
In addition to rice balls, Ohitsuzen can also be used as a bento box or for takeout.
seasonal snacks
I connected around 12:30 and was finally able to enter the store around 13:25.
From there, I waited for about 15 minutes before arriving, so I think it took about 1 hour and 10 minutes in total.
This time, “Seasonal Ohitsuzen (1,800 yen)” I ordered.
The main menu seems to change depending on the season, and this time it was Kinka mackerel.
The wife said,Gindara soy sauce pickled ohitsuzen (2,400 yen)” I ordered small bowls and other things, but I forgot to take a photo. .
The composition is main menu, ohitsu, miso soup, dashi soup, Nanban miso, arare, wasabi, and warabimochi.
Let's get it then.
Kinka mackerel
The skin is grilled crispy, the meat is juicy and has plenty of fat.
I can't say it's the best mackerel I've ever eaten, but it's definitely delicious.
I think it's a little small and the size may feel uneasy.
Ohitsu
The rice is delicious.
It is cooked so that it is fluffy.
Personally, I like the rice to be firmer, but it's not a problem because the rice itself is delicious.
The type of rice seems to change depending on the season, period, or week.
Also, the food is served in a hitsu like inns, so you can always eat it hot.
You can only get a second helping of rice once, but I appreciate that you can get a second helping of rice not only for each bowl but also for each ohitsu.
Of course I had a second helping.
Ochazuke (Rice with Tea)
You can also enjoy it in the style of ochazuke with dashi soup and arare.
However, the flavor and texture of the rice is affected, so personally I think it's better to eat it as is.
Miso Shiru (Miso Soup)
Miso soup with nameko mushrooms.
Simple is the best taste.
Warabi mochi
Finally, we finished with something sweet and enjoyed the meal.
Impressions and Rating
Including the wife's order, the bill for the two of us was approximately 4,800 yen.
It seems a little expensive considering it's a set meal, but the rice and main menu are of a decent quality, so I think it's worth it.
It was delicious in taste.
Especially the rice was delicious.
The main menu is rather small, so it would be a good idea to add a small bowl or side dish and continue eating the rice.
Although the line is long, I would like to visit again when I have time.
