Tonkatsu Den Toyosu
Today, I visited Toyosu with my wife during lunch time on a weekday.
When it comes to eating in Toyosu, the main places to eat are LaLaport and Toyosu Market, but Toyosu is home to many large companies, so during lunchtime on weekdays, there are many restaurants that are open on the 1st floor of buildings that house large companies.
However, all the restaurants are crowded during lunch time. .
If I wait too long, I'll end up missing lunch, so today I decided on a restaurant to go to in advance so I could go all out.
So, ``Tonkatsu Den Toyosu”.
We arrived after 1:00 p.m. after the peak lunch time, but the restaurant was still full and there was only one person waiting in front of us.
When you are in line, you will be given a menu and asked to order.

By the way, both fillet cutlet and loin cutlet are 120g and cost 1,280 yen.
Am I the only one who feels that ordering fillet cutlet is a good deal, since fillet cutlet is usually more expensive or has less g for the same price?
Other items on the menu include minced meat cutlet and fried shrimp, but it seems to be limited to the lunch menu.
It seemed like they were cleaning up at the time, so I was guided right away after ordering.

Well, since it's fried food, I was prepared for it to take some time to serve, but it took longer than I expected. .

The rice is also delicious.
Of course, one cup wasn't enough, so I ordered one refill.
The miso soup contains green seaweed, and the soup stock and miso are both strong and of high quality.
I also had one refill of miso soup.
cabbage
Cabbage refills are also free.
Why is shredded cabbage from a tonkatsu restaurant so much more delicious than the shredded cabbage you make at home or the shredded cabbage you buy at the supermarket? .
I would love to recreate it at home. .
There are two types of dressing: Japanese-style oroshi and French.
I tried both, but personally, I preferred the Japanese-style oroshi because it was refreshing.
Impressions
I think 1,280 yen (fillet cutlet + free refills of rice, miso soup, and cabbage) is a good value.
Of course, I think the quality of fillet cutlet is also quite good.
My concern is that it will take a long time to be delivered. .
It was fine because we were on vacation and didn't have to worry about time, but I feel like it's a bit risky to visit during a time restriction such as during a company lunch break.
That said, it was a restaurant with delicious food and good value for money that I would probably visit regularly if I worked in this area.
It's also open at night, and serves a la carte dishes and drinks, so it's a good idea to visit at night as well.
