In 2024, I think the price hike for official and bottler's whiskey was difficult.
I've come across several bottles that were delicious, but I decided to pass on considering the price. .
That's what it sounds like, but when I counted it, I bought a total of 74 bottles of whiskey in 2024.
By the way, the total purchase price is about 1.4 million yen. .

5th place: GM Tormore 1998
This is GM Tormor, released by Komaspi.
It has a very fruity taste that if served blind would make you think of 96 Ben Nevis.
I am relieved that I was able to purchase it quickly.
4th place: Blossoms Glen Moray 1995
07 is said to be the best year for Glen Moray, and when it is short to medium ripe, you can feel wheat, fruit, and white flowers.
As it ages, the fruit ripens, the flowers change color, and a tea-like element appears, giving you a distinct sense of ripeness.
I drank it at the bar and it was delicious, so I managed to find it and purchase it.
The most recent release in the Blossoms series was 95 Glen Grant, but the price has become quite steep at 73,000 yen, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to buy Blossoms next time. .
3rd place: KFWS Irish 2002-2024 Zodiac Series “Cancer”
This is an Irish whiskey released by Kyoto Fine Wine and Spirits, commonly known as Kyoto.
It is commonly known as Cancer from the constellation series.
Although it is a secret, it is probably a coolie.
It has a creamy, milky, lemon candy-like taste.
If you look at the price, it might seem expensive, but once you try it, you'll be satisfied with the taste.
Since it's part of a series, I'm curious about future releases, but I'd like to keep it in this price range.

1st place: Williamson 2006 17 year barrel for ASAYA & SHINANOYA
Although it was a close difference of 110 yen, this one took first place.

I tried to buy bottles that cost over 50,000 yen or 100,000 yen, but I couldn't buy them because they were sold early or there was a lottery. .

This year's lineup is in the late 90's to early 00's for the same price, and Aira is in the late 10's.
It's difficult to make a simple comparison, but I think the price increase was significant in 2024.
