Cheapao at home
I visited beforeCloisonne spicy soup' has released a product called 'Home Chi Pao' where you can enjoy spicy soup at home.

It seems that it can be purchased in stores, but from Thursday, May 9, 2024, “net” is now available for purchase.
Each bag contains 2 meals, and they are sold as a 4-meal set with 2 bags or an 8-meal set with 4 bags.
The prices and shipping charges for each item are as follows.
8-meal set: 4,895 yen (tax included) + 185 yen shipping = 5,080 yen in total
If you calculate it per meal, it will be as follows.
8-meal set: 5,080 yen ÷ 8 = 635 yen
The 8-meal set is a little more economical.
However, there is not a big price difference, so I think it would be a good idea to buy the 4-meal set first, try it once, and if you like it, buy the 8-meal set.
This time I purchased the 4-meal set.
It arrived in a box the size of what Mercari calls a Nekoposu, and was sent by post.
By the way, it arrived 2 days after I purchased it.
Contents
The contents are ``Vermicelli, spicy powder, cloisonne sauce, salt sauce”.
The image shows one serving, so there are four servings.
There are no toppings, so you will need to prepare your own toppings such as vegetables and meat.
There are also information on recommended toppings and how to arrange them, so feel free to use them as you like.
There are instructions on how to make it on the back of the paper.
cooking process
Let's cook according to the instructions.
Put 550cc of water and vermicelli in a frying pan and heat.
Once it boils, measure it for 7 minutes.
Add the ingredients at this time and let them boil together.
This time, “Bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, pork, crab sticks, Koya tofu”.
I think most of the dishes will be delicious even if you put whatever you have left over in the fridge.
After 7 minutes, add the spicy powder, cloisonne sauce, and salt sauce in that order, stir well, and it's done.
Finally, ``coriander, garlic” I tried scattering it.
I think you can make it in about 10 to 15 minutes.
Depending on the ingredients, you may have to cut them with a knife, but the effort is a little more troublesome than making bag noodles.
actual food
First of all, the most important thing is the soup.I think it has a strong spiciness and tastes similar to the one at the restaurant.
This time I had a little more ingredients, so it felt a little thin, but I think it can be adjusted by reducing the amount of water depending on the amount of ingredients.
The vermicelli is chewy and has a taste similar to the store-bought version.
The standard time is 7 minutes, but you can adjust the boiling time to your liking.
Impressions
My wife ate it, and she said it was delicious.
I also tried a little bit of it, and I think it tastes quite similar to the restaurant, so I'm sure I'll keep coming back.
I think it's a bit expensive for a self-cooked meal at just under 700 yen + ingredients, but if I had the same ingredients as this time at a restaurant, I think it would cost over 2,000 yen.
If you think about it, I think it's pretty cheap.
Also, in the case of restaurants, there is always a line during lunch and dinner hours, so it takes about 2 hours for the round trip plus waiting time.
You do need to cook it, but I think it would be better to add about 10 to 15 minutes to the cooking time.
For those who don't want to wait in line, for those who want to eat spicy soup at home, or for men, it might be a good gift for women.
