SCHMATZ LaLaport Toyosu
I visit Toyosu every day for business.
Since my business was completed safely, I decided to have a quick bite to eat in Toyosu before heading home.
So, in LaLaport Toyosu 3,SCHMATZ LaLaport Toyosu” I visited.

『SCHMATZ” is a restaurant where you can enjoy German beer and German food mainly in the Kanto region.
A little off-topic, but LaLaport Toyosu has three buildings: 1, 2, and 3.
Building 1 houses the main food court, building 2 houses a supermarket and gym, building 3 houses restaurants, etc., and has the unique feature of being directly connected to Toyosu Station.
I don't know if this is my first time seeing it. .
The address says it's on the 1st floor, but no matter how hard I look for it, I can't find it. .
My current location was LaLaport Toyosu 1, and the store I was looking for was inside LaLaport Toyosu 3. .
Please be careful as this may happen.
I visited after 6:00 pm on a weekday, and since I was alone, I was able to enter the store without waiting.
Since I was alone, I was guided to a counter seat, and then I started ordering.
1st cup: Weizen
The first cup is ``Weizen Beer (1.089 yen)” I asked.
There was a choice of size M and L, but I asked for M because I wanted to compare the drinks.
It was fruity, and if I were to talk about a specific fruit, it felt like a banana.
It has a glassy feel that is typical of foreign beers, but it is also fruity, so I don't feel any bitterness, and I get the impression that it is a sweet beer.
Otoshi (Table Appetizer):Pretzel
Otoshi (Table Appetizer) is “Pretzel (385 yen)'It was.
When you think of Germany, you think of Pretzel, and when you say Pretzel, you think of Germany.
It's a hard bread with a barley flavor and aroma, and it's salty, so it's perfect as a snack.
There is a sweet called Pretz, and it seems that the inspiration behind it was Pretzel.
I hope you can imagine the taste of Pretz.
Nurnberger Sausage and German Potatoes
As Otsumami (Snacks),Nurnberger Sausage and German Potatoes (1,639 yen)” I ordered.
As the name suggests, Nuremberger sausage is a sausage from Nuremberg, Germany.
It is characterized by its small size and coarsely ground meat.
If you are a soccer fan, you may be familiar with Nuremberg, as it is the team that Kiyotake and Hasebe previously belonged to.
The most important taste is that it has a strong, meaty flavor, and is strong and deep.
I felt it was a little dry, but it's within an acceptable range.
German potatoes are crispy grilled potatoes.
The potatoes, bacon, and onions have a lot of flavor, and the overall impression is that it is a snack with a strong flavor.
It's delicious, but I wish something could be done about the fact that it took about 20 minutes to be served. .
2nd cup: Lager Beer
I prefer a certain amount of bitterness to my meal rather than a fruity beer.
So, the second cup is ``Lager Beer (1,529 yen)” I ordered.
I asked for a size L to match the snacks.
The bitterness is stronger than the previous Weizen Beer, but not as strong as Japanese beer.
I think it's a beer that goes well with meals, with just the right amount of honey-like sweetness and barley flavor.
Impressions
The bill was Otoshi (Table Appetizer), Weizen Beer (M), Lager Beer (L), and Nurnberger Sausage and German Potatoes, totaling 4,642 yen.
It was more expensive than I expected. .
Since it's foreign beer or craft beer, I think the price of the beer is like this.
There were a lot of snacks, so it's a bit pricey for one person, but I think it's good for two or more people.
It's difficult to use many if you're drinking alone, but there are many in Tokyo, so I think it's a good place to go if you're drinking with a group of people.
