This is the second day of my Fukuoka trip.

Hotel Cabinus Fukuoka
I have been staying at "Hotel Cabinus Fukuoka" since yesterday.
After waking up feeling a bit overslept, I rehydrated and took a morning bath and morning sauna.
It's great to be able to take a bath and even go to the sauna almost as soon as I wake up.
I had other plans, so I checked out a little after 10:30. .
Hakata Gomasabaya
I'm going to have breakfast, or rather lunch.
So, I will visit the popular "Hakata Gomasabaya” Visit.
I visited around 11:15, and there were about 15 people in line at that time.
If there is an empty seat for one person, even if two people are waiting in front of us, they will give us priority, so the turnover rate was good and we were able to get our bowls in about 20 minutes.
This time, “Toro mackerel bowl set meal (1,600 yen)” was selected.
As you might expect from the name fatty tuna, it has a firm fat content, yet it has no odor, and you can really feel the aroma and taste.
It's easy to see why this restaurant is so popular, as you can get all-you-can-eat nanbanzuke, pickled vegetables, and soup stock, as well as one free meal of rice.
Shokuji to Sakadokoro Makoto
Next, we will move on foot and have lunch, or should I say lunch, at the second restaurant.
So, ``Shokuji to Sakadokoro Makoto” I came to.
This is a popular store that I visited last year.
I visited around 12:00, expecting a long line, but luckily there were only 2 people waiting.
The store clerk said that on rainy days the line was thinner, so I was a little thankful that it was raining that day.
There is only one menu for lunch, so even if you do not order, you will be provided with ``Grilled mackerel set meal (1,100 yen)''.
There is a lot of fat, especially in the fatty belly area, where the fat overflows as if you are drinking juice.
This restaurant has the best grilled mackerel of my life.
Not only was the mackerel delicious, but the rice, miso soup, and cold tofu were also delicious, making it a very satisfying lunch.
The price has gone up by 100 yen since last year, but I think it's still a good value for money.
I would like to visit again next year.
Bar Kitchen
Having eaten two lunches, I was full, so I headed to the bar.
We are usually open from night, but for those who came from far away to attend the ``Whiskey Talk Fukuoka'' held yesterday, we will be open from noon a few days before and after the event.
Opening from noon is really helpful.
I enjoyed everything from non-peated to sherry to peated.
I hope to visit you again when you visit Fukuoka.
Ganso Ramen Nagahamake (Keiichi)
After drinking, it's natural to finish.
So, ``Ganso Ramen Nagahamake (Keiichi)” Visit.
『Ramen (500 yen)” is called “Betakata” I asked.
Betakata is fatty (betta) and Kata (noodles are hard).
While enjoying the Nagahama ramen for the first time in a year, which is served immediately after ordering, you can further customize it with red ginger, sesame, pepper, and ramen sauce on the table.
I wanted to try some extra noodles, but I decided to just have ramen for next time.
Wellbe Fukuoka
I actually wanted to go to the second ramen shop, but I surprisingly didn't have time, so I decided to skip it and head to my next destination.
So, ``Wellbe Fukuoka”.
The quality of the sauna is high, but the bath was lost in a renovation a few years ago. .
Even though the location and sauna were good, there was no bath, so I avoided staying there. .
Reopened in November 2024 and added a 40℃ cold bath.
It's not a bath, it's just a 40℃ water bath.

There was one more feature we had not announced when we reopened after the renovation.
A third cold bath has been added.

It's a small size that might fit 3 people, but it's better to have it than not have it.
The quality of the sauna is still high, and the location is close to Tenjin, so it might be a good idea to stay here next year.
Fukuoka Airport
After the sauna, I wanted to have a quick drink or ramen and enjoy Fukuoka to the fullest, but time was running out, so I headed to Fukuoka Airport first.
I was running out of time while choosing a souvenir for my wife, so I just drank a cup of tea in the lounge and then boarded the plane.
I drank consommé soup on the plane, then basically fell asleep, and before I knew it, I had arrived at Haneda.
Impressions
It was fun going to Fukuoka for the first time in a year.
During my stay, I had 3 bowls of ramen and 2 mackerel set meals, so I was able to fully enjoy Fukuoka in terms of food, but 1 night and 2 days was too short.
I would like to stay at least 2 nights and 3 days, so next year I would like to manage my schedule and enjoy it even more.
I think the next time I will travel for a whiskey event will be in January 2026 for ``Whiskey Lovers Nagoya'', so it will be a while yet, but I would like to introduce it to you when I travel somewhere again, either by myself or with my wife.
