Visit and Queue Information

Number of visits: First time
Visit date: June 2025, weekdays
Time of visit: Around 21:30
Line: About 10 groups waiting, 20 minutes
Seats: Counter seats only

If there is a line, buy a meal ticket first and then line up.

Iekei Ramen is right in front of Musashi-Kosugi Station, so there's always a line.

The rotation rate gives a good impression.

In Tokyo, you'll see couples eating slowly even though there's a long line, or talking at their seats even after they've finished eating, but in Kawasaki it seems like couples have a wonderful mindset of eating quickly and then leaving the restaurant quickly.

This is the level I would like to include in a textbook.

Also, there was a Kawasaki Frontale game on that day, so I got the impression that it was even more crowded.

I was also watching soccer, and I headed over as soon as the players greeted each other after the game, so I was able to connect while the line was relatively short.

Well, I'm a supporter of the opponent, Albirex Niigata.

And on this day, Kawasaki won, but my Albirex Niigata lost. .

Ordering and Payment

Order visit: Meal ticket system
Payment method: cash only

Menu

I get the impression that it is a menu of a typical family ramen shop with various toppings on the base ramen.

It's good that there is a 0.5 ball menu for women and children.

Call (Customizations)

When you are standing in line, a staff member comes to collect your ticket and asks you your preference.

It's a general family name/preference, so don't rush and call what you want to eat.

Noodle hardness: hard, medium, soft
Flavor intensity: strong, medium, thin
Fat level: high, medium, low

Ramen Namimori + Rice

This time, “Ramen-like (900 yen)” and “Rice (100 yen)” I asked.

Cole is ``Hard/Dark".

If Albi had bought it, I would have bought beer with lots of toppings. .

We were seated about 20 minutes after we lined up, and the rice bowl was served about 5 minutes after that, so the total time was about 25 minutes.

Let's get it then.

Ramen Namimori (Regular Ramen)

The default toppings are 1 slice of pork, 2 slices of seaweed, and spinach.

Soup

This is a soup with a strong flavor of tonkotsu or pork.

Kaeshi has a rich flavor, but the saltiness is a strong cole and gives the impression of being modest.

I usually eat a lot of strong-flavored foods, so maybe my tongue is stupid or my taste is thin by default. . !?

Noodles

It was boiled exactly as ordered, so hard that you could feel the core.

It has crisp corners, and when you bite into it, you can feel the flavor of wheat that rivals the soup.

Chashu (Braised Pork)

Is it the loin part?

You can feel the firm texture and the flavor of the meat.

Rice

The rice is cooked to a sticky consistency with a lot of water, which is common with rice cookers that hold a large capacity.

Rice is 100 yen, but since it's all you can eat, I can't complain.

I can't complain about the unlimited amount of kappa (pickled cucumbers) on the table.

In the end, although it was a dirty way to eat, I poured some of the soup into a bowl, stirred it in, and enjoyed the meal.

Impressions and Rating

Overall it was delicious.

I was concerned about the lack of salt in the soup and the undercookedness of the rice, but other than that, I was satisfied with the popularity of this restaurant, which had a long line of people.

The char siu was good, so my only regret is that they should have added more toppings.

Recommended when visiting Musashikosugi.

Personally, I would like to visit Todoroki Stadium again next year. .

That is if our Albirex Niigata team can remain in J1 in the 2025 season. .

Overall: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7)
Taste: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7)
Cost performance: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7)
Revisit: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7)

Summary

  • Ramen from the owner's family who trained at the Musashi family
  • Good location in front of Musashikosugi Station
  • Lines are inevitable, especially when there is a soccer match
  • The rich pork-like soup matches perfectly with the noodles.
  • I'm concerned about the saltiness of the soup and the doneness of the rice
