However, due to the soaring price of beef tongue, we were forced to raise the price, and the beef tongue set meal now costs over 2,000 yen.

Therefore, in addition to beef tongue, we have added chicken, pork, beef loin, etc. to the menu, and with these items, you can still get a set meal for around 1,500 yen.

There were quite a few people from overseas, and I got the impression that there were a lot of people working at beauty salons and clothing stores nearby.

Shirotan Atsugiri Set

This time, “Sirotan Atsugiri Set (2,600 yen)” was selected.

As for the beef tongue menu, there is "Sirotan” and “Akatan” is there.

Shirotan is a common type of beef tongue, and Akatan is a tougher part of the beef that has relatively less fat, such as the tip of the tongue.

Shirotan has Usugiri and Atsugiri, which are literally the difference in thickness.

Of course, the prices are in the order of Shirotan Atsugiri > Shirotan Usugiri > Akatan.

The set comes with barley rice, grated yam, tail soup, and pickles, making it a beef tongue set meal.

First is the main beef tongue.

Because it's Shirotan Atsugiri, you can feel the crunchy texture and the flavor of the fat and meat when you bite into it.

The great thing about Mugimeshi is that you can have any refills and there is no limit to how many times you can eat it.

I ended up ordering about 3 refills because I was so full. .

Tororo

At many stores you have to order it separately, but Negishi comes with it by default.

Personally, I order yam almost every time I eat beef tongue, so I feel like it saved me a lot of trouble.

I think some people don't need tororo, so I thought it would be nice to have an option to get rid of it for -100 yen.

Tail Soup

Speaking of beef tongue set meal, it is tail soup.

It has a strong and strong flavor.

Fresh incense

When you think of beef tongue, you think of pickles and Nanban miso.

Either one must not be missing.

There are times when I order beef tongue as a snack instead of a set meal, but even in those cases, pickles and Nanban miso are a must.
