Just to be safe, I made a reservation on Tabelog and visited.
When I visited, there were only two groups including me, so if you arrive early even on a holiday, you might be able to get in without a reservation.
However, it is a popular restaurant, so if you are interested, I think it is a good idea to make a reservation.
Although we do not have motsuyaki, you can enjoy other dishes such as motsu sashimi and stew.
Ordering and Payment
Payment method: Cards accepted, various electronic money accepted
Menu
The menu focuses on offal-based snacks such as offal sashimi and stew.
Since the shop is run by a shop owner with a background in motsuyakiden, I was also curious about the motsuyaki, but this shop does not have motsuyaki.
The snack menu is mainly motsu, but there are other Japanese dishes as well.
There is a wide variety of sake, so it would be good to drink slowly with motsu sashimi or stew.
Items Ordered
This time I ordered Osake Nihai (Two Drinks) + Otsumami Sanpin (Three Snacks).
Now, let me introduce you to the menu we received this time.
Bin Beeru (Bottled Beer)
First of all,Bin Beeru (Bottled Beer) (650 yen)".
The first beer of the day is always delicious.
Bin Beeru (Bottled Beer) is available from 14:00 on holidays.
This alone is quite satisfying.
Stewed small portion
Next, ``Small stew (460 yen)”.
Apparently it's quite filling for one person, so I made it a small portion.
It would be nice to receive suggestions from the store.
It has a rich flavor based on soy sauce.
It is thoroughly stewed.
It also has the flavor of offal, which is quite delicious.
Even the half size is satisfying.
If you're drinking alone or just having a snack, I think a half size would be fine.
liver stab
『Liver sashimi (620 yen)”.
Pork liver cooked at low temperature.
As for the taste, it has the flavor of liver and sesame oil that you can imagine.
However, I would say that the crisp texture and corner feel are to be expected.
It has no odor and is quite easy to eat.
If you like liver, this is a dish you should order.
donut sashimi
『Donut sashimi (700 yen)”.
A donut is the part around a pig's throat.
It has a soy sauce flavor while still retaining its crunchiness.
Star anise is used, and the taste is reminiscent of Taiwanese or Chinese cuisine, such as pork rice.
This is interesting.
It is a little different from the image of so-called motsu sashimi, and has the impression that it is a well-seasoned snack.
The crunchy texture and the sweet and salty soy sauce flavor will go well with your drink.
Fresh sake high
Next, ``Fresh sake high (640 yen)”.
The spiciness of the ginger and the sweetness of the syrup are a perfect balance.
With just the right amount of spiciness and sweetness, it's delicious even when you drink it alone.
However, it goes well with meals as it does not interfere with the meal.
Even if you pair it with strong snacks like offal sashimi or stew, it will reset your palate.
This is pretty good.
Impressions and Rating
“Washoku Ajikawa” I visited.
I was quite curious about the restaurant because it was run by the owner who had a background in Motsuyakiden.
Although there is no giblet grilled, the quality of giblet sashimi is high.
The stew is also creamy and of high quality.
That being said, I'm also curious about motsuyaki, but it's a shame that they don't have it...
This time, since it was my first time eating there and I hadn't eaten lunch, I was hungry, so I ended up drinking less alcohol.
There seemed to be a wide variety of sake, so next time I would like to try sake with motsu sashimi and stew.
The snack menu mainly consists of motsu, but there were other items that caught my attention.
I would like to try that next time.
It seemed relatively easy to get in early on holidays, but it can get crowded depending on the time of day, so I think it's best to make a reservation before visiting.
I look forward to hearing from you again.
