Visit and Queue Information

Number of visits: First time (second time if you include another store, Nonakaya)
Visit date: May 2026, weekdays
Visiting time: Around 19:00
Queue: none
Crowd status: The store is almost full
Seat: counter seat

I visited during dinner time on a weekday, and the restaurant was almost full due to the mix of working people and students.

While we were eating, there was a line of about 2 to 3 people.

It's open all day, so if you visit during peak lunch and dinner hours, you'll be able to get in without waiting.

By the way, in addition to the Nonaka family, Monzen-nakacho also has ``big money familyThere is a family-run ramen shop called ``Daiki Family Group.''

[Tokyo/Monzen-nakacho] Daikinya Monzen-nakacho Ramen (average) + Flavored eggs + Rice all you can eat 1,100 yen [Visited in April 2026]

The Nonaka family was originally part of the Daiki family group, but it seems that it has become independent and is now a separate management company.

Both restaurants sell all-you-can-eat rice, so I'm glad that Monzen-nakacho now has more options for eating Iekei ramen.

When I visited the fourth generation Nonaka family in Ikebukuro, the situation was as follows.here』

Ordering and Payment

Ordering method: Meal ticket system
Payment method: cash only

Menu

The basic menu is ramen, and there are also abura soba and other dishes.

The toppings are typical of the family, such as chashu pork, flavored eggs, seaweed, and spinach.

All-you-can-eat rice is also available.

If you order all-you-can-eat rice, you can enjoy ura kappa and infinite garlic.

For Iekei Ramen, the ramen itself is important, but the satisfaction level of the rice surroundings is also quite important.

All you can eat ramen + flavored eggs + rice

This time, “Ramen (900 yen)』、『Flavored egg (100 yen)』、『All you can eat rice (100 yen)” I ordered.

Your preference is ``Hard” I asked.

So let's have it.

Rice + Ura raincoat

I will have rice before the ramen.

There is also a rice cooker near the rice cooker, so be sure to fill it up.

Ura-kappa is a mixture of Ao-kappa, a pickled cucumber, and other ingredients such as bean sauce and chashu.

Honestly, I've come here to eat this instead of ramen.

However, on this day, I felt that the spiciness of the bean sauce and the sweetness of the sugar were a little lacking.

It was delicious, but I felt it was a little lacking.

rice + extra garlic

I'll have another bowl of rice before the ramen arrives.

Next time, we will put mayo on the extra garlic on the table.

The garlic and mayo seasoned with kaeshi accelerates the consumption of the rice.

Soup

In the meantime, it's time for the ramen bowl.

Let's start with the soup.

It has strong pork bones.

Kaeshi is mild.

Although it is rich, it gives the impression that it brings out the flavor of the pork bones rather than making you eat it with Kaeshi.

It has the strength of a family-like flavor, but it's not overpowering with salt, so it's easy to eat.

As a Monzen-nakacho family, I would like to compare it with the Okine family, but I honestly feel that there is not much difference when it comes to ramen.

Both are simply delicious.

Noodles

The noodles are so hard that you can feel the core.

I ordered it hard, so it was exactly as I ordered.

At the beginning, it has a firm wheat feel and crunch.

The soup is so rich that you can really feel the presence of the noodles.

However, lately I've started to like normal and soft rather than hard, so I might just stick with normal next time.

Chashu (Braised Pork)

The char siu has a moderate smoked aroma.

Lately, I've started to dislike char siu that has too much smokiness, but this one has just the right aroma.

It is a good accent to the whole ramen.

It has a meaty texture and goes well with the soup.

Flavored egg

『Flavored egg”.

It's normal.

Not bad.

However, personally, I'm more satisfied with the all-you-can-eat rice, Ura Kappa, and Mugen Garlic, so I feel like you can use the flavored eggs as you like.

It's true that I'm happy to have flavored eggs in Iekei Ramen, but it may not be that high of a priority.

Back raincoat

Finally, we had rice and Ura Kappa again.

After all, delicious is delicious.

However, personally, I preferred the Ura Kappa that I ate at Okineya.

I think there are some fluctuations on that day.

Impressions and Rating

『Yokohama family ramen 10th generation Nonaka family” I visited.

Monzen-nakacho has Oganeya and Nonakaya, both of which sell all-you-can-eat rice.

Honestly, I didn't think there was much of a difference when it came to ramen.

Both are rich family-style ramen with the flavor of pork bones, and are delicious.

However, personally, the quality of the rice or the Ura-kappa was better at Okineya.

Nonakaya's Ura Kappa is also delicious.

However, on this day, I felt that the spiciness of the bean sauce and the sweetness of the sugar were a little lacking.

That being said, the Ura-kappa that I ate at Okineya left a better impression on me.

Mugen Garlic and Mayo were stable.

It goes perfectly with all-you-can-eat rice.

I think the quality of Iekei ramen is high, and there are plenty of options to eat at Monzen-nakacho.

However, if I had to choose which one I would personally recommend at this point, it would be the big money family.

I think there are differences from that day, so I'd like to go eat each one again and then draw a conclusion.

Overall: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7)

Cost performance: ★★★★★★★★☆☆ (8)
