The event will be held tomorrow.Whiskey Harbor KobeI visited Kansai as a pre-ride to participate in the event, and today I am in Kyoto.

I arrived at Ichijoji Station around 11 o'clock.
What you are looking for is ``Ramen Jiro Kyoto branch”.

This is the only Jiro branch in Kansai.
It takes about 1 minute walk from Ichijoji Station.
Instead of a yellow sign, it is a white sign due to Kyoto's landscape ordinance.
The current time is 11 o'clock and it should be open time, but the door is closed and there is no one there. .
It's possible that the opening time is delayed, but then there should be someone waiting. .
As I approached the store, I saw this notice. .
[Sad news] Thank you for your help. The noodle making machine broke. We will be open today with the noodles we have in stock and will close as soon as we run out. We will be closed from tomorrow, and we hope to reopen next Thursday. We will contact you as soon as the details are decided.

When I looked at the X at the store, there was a prior announcement. .
It's my fault for not checking in advance. .
Thank you for your help! The repair of the noodle machine has been completed successfully, so we will resume business tomorrow! thank you!

It looks like they will be reopening from April 23rd.
I came all the way to Ichijoji. . However, there are a lot of ramen shops near Ichijoji Station, so I decided to try a different one.
So, ``Tenkaichippin main store”.

We arrived around 11:15 and there were about 2 groups waiting.
It seemed to be full of first-round customers, so we had to wait about 15 minutes to enter.
Rich
First of all, the noodles are thick, thin and hard.
There's nothing special about being a main store, except that it says "sohonten" on the bowl.
The soup itself is the usual taste you get in Tokyo.
Noodles
I was asked if I wanted regular noodles or thin noodles, so I chose thin noodles.
I've never been asked that before. . When I looked into it later, I found out that there are some directly managed stores where you can choose your noodles.
As expected from the main store (directly managed store).
I'm guessing that the noodles you usually eat are regular noodles, but they have a wheat-like and slightly chewy texture.
However, the thin noodles were different in that they had a smooth texture.
If you look at the noodles individually, I think the thin noodles are better.
However, who goes well with rich soup? If you ask me, I think it's normal noodles.
Pork heavy
It seems to be a menu exclusive to the main store.
The sauce was overwhelmingly subtle. .
Miso (or gochujang), soy sauce, ginger, and garlic all go in different directions.
I have never had a sauce that was so unbalanced. .
This order was a mistake. . When I think about it, isn't it supposed to be eaten with soup? It flashes.
I know it's bad manners, but I'm going to scoop up some pork with a spoon, dip it in the soup, and eat it.
It's spectacularly delicious.
The rich soup wraps up the sauce, which used to be all mixed up.
Then, accents such as miso and ginger are added to the soup.
I'm glad I ordered this.
Impressions
I remember discovering Tenka Ippin during my university days and being shocked by how delicious it was.
I was finally able to fulfill my dream of visiting the main store someday.
As I knew, although there are limited menu items such as Tonju, it is no different from Tenka Ippin in Tokyo and other places.
However, if you are a fan of Tenka Ippin, you should definitely visit it at least once.
Perhaps because it's the main store, there were a lot of people ordering food from the food stalls.
I'd like to order it someday, but I'm sure I'll order the rich one. .
By the way, the stores I usually go to in Tokyo only accept cash, but perhaps because it's a directly managed store, I was able to use electronic money, QR code payments, and credit cards.
I would like to see more payment methods available at franchise stores as well.
