Facility introduction
『nicole refre' is a sauna/capsule hotel facility located in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
Not only is it famous for its sauna and Loury, but it's also convenient to use as a hotel since it's close to Susukino.
Drama “sa road”, the heatwave teacher who appeared in episode 4 “elegant watarai” is also the facility where he previously worked as the manager.
sauna
There were two types of saunas.
- rocky sauna
- germanium mist sauna
rocky sauna
The main sauna has a temperature of around 90℃ and can accommodate around 30 people.
There is a TV in the sauna room, but the volume is low and depending on where you sit, you may not be able to see the TV, so the sauna is designed to be friendly to both people with and without a TV.
There are bath towels in front of the sauna room, and you can wrap the bath towel around your waist or lay out the bath towel before entering the sauna.
Also, ice is placed in the cooler box in front of the sauna room, and by entering the sauna with ice in your mouth, you can stay in the sauna for a longer time than usual.
The sauna room is quiet, so you can hear the crunching sound of ice cubes moving in your mouth and the crunching sound of ice cubes being chewed.
Personally, I found this sound disgusting and didn't like it. .
Loryu
Speaking of Nico Refre, it's Louryu.
『One sauna~It is famous for being performed to the chant of ``''.
Unfortunately, I was able to receive the Loryu because of ``Silent Loryu”, you couldn’t hear the famous shout without shouting,The quality of Roryu itself was high, and it led me to Totonoi.
germanium mist sauna
This is a mist sauna with a temperature of about 45℃.
Personally, I think the mist sauna is the perfect way to get rid of alcohol.
Take your time and work up a sweat to get rid of the alcohol.
The rocky sauna is more popular, so the mist sauna side is less crowded and you can enjoy your time alone.
*Please note that it is dangerous to use the sauna while drinking alcohol.
water bath
The water temperature was around 16℃.
The water seems to be softer due to the charcoal in it. . I can't help but feel that way.
It's a fair size, so you can enter without worrying about other people unless it's crowded, such as after L'Olye.
rest spot
There were two resting spots.
There is a circular lukewarm bath in the center, with chairs placed around it.
The other part was one step higher, and there were six chairs there.
You can just put your feet on the wall, stretch your legs, and take a break.
I think there are about 10 chairs in total, so you can sit on the chairs and take a break unless it's crowded after Louryu.

The main thing is a hydrogen bath, and there's a vibra and a TV, so I can't help but stay in it for a long time.
Amenities
One nice thing is that you can use as many bath towels and hand towels as you like.
They also have lotion, emulsion, wax, etc., so you can use them empty-handed.
capsule
There are standard type and deluxe type.This time I used the standard type.
The capsule has two levels, top and bottom.
To minimize the effects of vibration and sound, I always choose the upper level of the capsule, even though it's a pain to climb.
The capsule facilities are the same as those at other stores, including TV, electricity, and electrical outlets.
However, I felt that there was a slight problem.
Problem 1: The location of the outlet is awkward.
If the outlet is located under an electric light (fluorescent light) and the charger is thick, it won't get stuck.
Nowadays, even genuine Apple chargers are a little thick, and I think thick chargers with multiple ports are the mainstream.
You can borrow a charger and an extension tap at the reception, so I was able to connect and charge with that.
Problem 2: There is only one elevator.
The 6th and 7th floors are capsule floors, and the 4th floor has a reception and sauna.
Therefore, you will basically be moving between the 6th and 7th floors and the 4th floor.
However,There was only one elevator and the waiting time was long, so it took a long time to move from floor to floor using the elevator.
This time I stayed on the 6th floor and there are stairs, so I basically used the stairs to move between floors.
It wasn't that hard because it was a two-story trip from the 6th floor to the 4th floor, but if I were staying on the 7th floor, I would have to use the stairs to go 3 floors, so I feel like climbing 3 floors would be a bit of a pain.
Problem 3: The room is hot
There is no air conditioning inside the capsule.
When we were inside the capsule, we had to close the curtains, so it got so hot inside that it was difficult to sleep.
I tried to sleep with the curtains slightly open, but the room where the capsule was located wasn't that cool, so I had a hard time sleeping.
For an additional 800 yen, you can stay in a deluxe type room.
You can hang curtains in the room itself, and the capsule curtains can be left open, so you may be able to alleviate the heat a little.
Others
There is also a cafeteria within the facility, but I did not use it this time.
Looking at the menu, it looks like it's chunky, high in salt, and has a strong taste.The SameshiThere were many menu items like this, and they looked delicious.
However,Rather than being a Sapporo specialty, it feels like a sameshi that you can eat anywhere.
Due to its good location near Susukino, you can find attractive Sapporo specialties such as seafood, Genghis Khan, miso ramen, soup curry, etc. just one step into town, so I don't think there is any reason for travelers to go out of their way to use the restaurant.
Another point that caught my attention was the reception line system.
The reception area is divided into two lanes: one for new admissions and exits, and one for guests leaving and returning temporarily.
If there are two or more people at the reception desk, the process will be distributed, but if there is only one person, priority will be given to new people entering or leaving the building.Depending on the timing, I sometimes had to wait more than 5 minutes when going out and returning.
Do I need to separate this? .
Overall Assessment
It's attractive to be able to stay in a well-located area of Sapporo for less than 5,000 yen, but it's so hot that you can't sleep, so I don't recommend staying in a standard capsule in the summer. .
The sound of the ice in the sauna is a little bothersome, but I think the temperature and humidity, and above all the low water, are good, so I think it's a good idea to use it for sauna purposes.
Next time ``One sauna~” is something I definitely want to experience.
