Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club

Located in Toyosu/SenkyakubanraiTokyo Toyosu Manyo Club“Day Trip Admission.

If you expand a little further from Toyosu, you'll find Tsukishima Onsen, Hakusan-yu in Edagawa, Izumi Tenku-no-yu in Ariake, and Hotel Monday in Shinonome, but this is the only one you'll see in the Toyosu area, so it's a valuable one.

I think Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club is the easiest to use in the sense that it is easy to use as a set with Toyosu Market and Senkyubanrai.

This time I entered the museum around 14:00 and left around 18:00.

Normally it costs 3,850 yen, but by using a half price coupon, I was able to use it for 2,075 yen (1,925 yen + Bathing Tax (150 yen)).

sauna

There are two types of saunas.

  • Dry sauna
  • salt sauna

SaunaBefore entering the room, there is a beat board, so take it and use it by laying it down.

Dry sauna

Quoted from the official website

This time I mainly used this dry Sauna.

The room is spacious.

It has about 4 tiers and comes with a TV.

There is an autoroll at every hour.

Although it is a super public bath type facility, the Sauna room itself was spacious enough that I never felt cramped during my stay.

Comes with a TV, so you can stay in it for a long time.

If you arrive at the timing of the autoroll, you can really feel the heat.

salt sauna

Salt Sauna is mist Sauna.

I also bring a beat board with me.

There is salt in the room, and you can use it by putting it on your skin.

I think you can rub it in, but since it's coarse salt, it's quite painful.

If you have open wounds, it may stain quite a bit, so be careful.

Salt Sauna is a type of Sauna that enters slowly at a low temperature.

After warming up with dry Sauna, it seems like a good idea to go in for a change of pace.

SaunaThere is a shower inside the room, so be sure to rinse off the salt before getting out.

water bath

Quoted from the official website

Cold Bath is large enough to fit around 5 people.

The water temperature was around 18℃.

SaunaAs a facility, it's a little mild, but I think it's the standard temperature for a super public bath.

It's not too cold, so you can stay in for a long time to cool down.

Cold Bath is easy to use not only after dry Sauna but also after salt Sauna.

rest spot

The rest spot has both indoor and outdoor baths.

There is one bed in the indoor bath.

Beds, benches, and chairs are provided in the outdoor bathing space.

I think there were about 8 beds, 3 benches, and 2 chairs.

Sauna The room didn't seem crowded, but the rest spot was quite crowded.

This time I couldn't get a bed for the outdoor bath, so I used benches and chairs.

It was the season when it felt nice to bathe in the open air, so everyone seemed to be taking a slightly longer break.

The facility itself is spacious, but during times when the number of Sauna users increases, there may be competition for rest spots.

bath

The bathroom is quite complete.

  • open-air bath
  • Large bath
  • sleeping bath
  • carbonated spring

At Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club, the hot water from Yugawara is transported by tank truck and used.

In other words, you can enjoy hot springs while staying in Toyosu.

It is a facility that you can enjoy not only for Sauna but also for bathing purposes.

Quoted from the official website

In particular, Open-Air Bath has a feeling of openness.

Due to its location in Toyosu, it is quite attractive to take a relaxing bath while looking at the scenery such as Rainbow Bridge.

Quoted from the official website

You can fully enjoy the scenery even if you are in the indoor bath.

Quoted from the official website

There is also a sleeping bath, but personally I didn't like the angle a bit...

Quoted from the official website

There is also a carbonated spring, so I think it would be perfect before Sauna.

In-house facilities

Quoted from the official website

There are two restaurants within the hotel.

There are two types of restaurants: single-menu restaurants and buffets.

You can eat inside the building, and Day Trip Admission also allows you to go out for a while, which is an unusual system.

There are plenty of restaurants in Toyosu Market and Senkyakubanrai, so it might be a good idea to go out and have a meal.

Quoted from the official website

There are reclining chairs in the rest area.

It seems unlikely that you will be unable to sit if you are using it alone, but if you are using it with multiple people such as couples or families, there may be times when it is difficult to sit side by side.

The hall was so crowded.

Speaking of the reclining spaces of super public baths, you can sometimes hear a chorus of loud snoring, mainly from older men, but this one had a different clientele, so I didn't hear much snoring.

On the other hand, conversations in whispers can be heard, which may be more of a concern for some people.

Quoted from the official website

Although I have not used it, there is also Hot Stone Spa.

customer base

I get the impression that the customer base is mainly tourists visiting Toyosu Market and Senkyakubanrai.

Many Japanese people visit these bathhouses for sightseeing purposes, so they feel more like hot bath facilities at tourist destinations than super public baths for everyday use.

Although there were many foreign visitors, the majority were from Asia, where the bathing culture is relatively similar.

There were some European and American people, but not that many.

It's located next to the Toyosu Market, and since it's a busy facility with a large number of visitors, and you can stay overnight, it seems like it's going to be quite crowded on Saturdays and Sundays.

This time we entered the museum around 2:00 pm and left around 6:00 pm, but as the evening progressed, the inside of the museum became more and more crowded.

If you want to take it easy, weekdays are recommended.

Wednesdays may be a good time, especially when Toyosu Market is closed.

Even if you visit on Saturdays and Sundays, you can use the morning bath, so it seems best to visit early in the morning.

Impressions

I get the impression that it gets even more crowded from around 18:00, and I think this is the time when the number of guests increases.

This time, I was able to use the half-price ticket cheaply, so I was able to quickly leave when it got crowded.

Although the regular price is a little high, they seem to be handing out half-price coupons on a regular basis, so it would be a good idea to register as a member.

Overall Assessment

Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club was a fairly easy-to-use hot spring facility in a tourist spot.

It has a great location and can be used as a set with Toyosu Market and Senkyakubanrai, and has everything from Sauna, Cold Bath, outdoor bathing, hot springs, meals, and rest areas.

If you only want to use Sauna, the equipment is not as sharp as a specialized facility.

However, my overall ability to enter Sauna, enter Cold Bath, take an outdoor bath, and take a bath in a hot spring is quite high.

The facility tends to get crowded, so if you want to take your time, we recommend visiting on weekdays or during the morning bath hours.

I think it's a very convenient facility to take a break after visiting Toyosu Market and Senkyubanrai.

Coupons are distributed regularly, so if you are likely to visit several times, we recommend registering as a member.
