It is a blended whisky, and the whiskey is a luxurious blend of Yoichi, Miyagikyo, and even Ben Nevis.

2,000 pieces will be released in July, and 2,000 pieces will be released in October, making the total limited to 4,000 pieces.
I was told that they are basically sold wholesale to bars and other restaurants, but unfortunately they are also being resold, and they seem to be listed on auction and flea market sites for around 500,000 to 700,000 yen. (as of July 2024)
I'm sure there will be collectors and other individuals who will buy it at resale prices, and I think some bars will not be stocking it because it's expensive, so it may be possible for individuals to purchase it with the October shipment.
I think that limited edition and historical items like this should be shared and enjoyed by various people, so I hope that at least they will not be resold and will be sold wholesale to as many bars and restaurants as possible.

I was wondering if I could drink it without having to buy it, but apparently the bar I frequent doesn't have it in stock.
I heard that Yoichi/Miyagikyo Distillery offers paid tastings, and I'm planning to go to Yoichi Distillery in August 2024, so I guess I'll just have to wait until then. .

By the way, the price is 10,000 yen for 10ml.
If you just look at the price, 10,000 yen is expensive for 10ml of liquid, but this is the same price as the distillery, so it's not expensive at all.
It's rather cheap.
tasting notes
Taste: Raisins, apricots, grapes, fresh lychee-like fruit, barrel bitterness, fruit pulp, dust, slight peat.
Finish: Nuts, brown sugar
The scent was a typical long-aged blended scent, and I got the impression that it was a little hard.
I've written about various flavors, but the beginning is fruit, the middle is bitter and peat, and the second half is nutty.
It doesn't have a particularly strong flavor, but if you drink it over time, you'll notice a variety of flavors.
This time it's a tasting, so I have to stand and drink, and since it's a liquor store, I can't stay that long.
I know it's expensive to drink at a bar, but if possible, I'd like to sit down and take my time drinking a 30ml shot.
