full of energy
Today is ``Whiskey Talk Fukuoka” and is coming to Marine Messe Fukuoka.
I had drunk a lot of whiskey, and it was around 1:00 pm and I was getting hungry, so it was time to take a lunch break.
There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Marine Messe Fukuoka. .
There are some restaurants exhibiting at Whiskey Talk Fukuoka, but they are outdoors. .
It was too hot that day to eat outside, so we decided to head for a restaurant a little further away.
So, I took a 10 minute walk from Marine Messe Fukuoka to visit 'Hakata is full of energy!!” is a Hakata tonkotsu ramen restaurant.

This is a famous restaurant ranked #1 on Tabelog in Fukuoka Prefecture.
I had intended to move the lunch time a bit to around 13:30, but it was so popular that there was a wait of about 5 to 7 groups.
There were quite a few people from overseas as well.
If you see this bucket hanging in front of a store, it seems to indicate that the store is open, but since there is a line, the line is more of a landmark.
It's a ramen shop, and since it's a Hakata tonkotsu ramen shop and the cooking speed is fast, the turnover rate was good and I had to wait about 15 minutes before entering.
Charshu wood ear mushroom ramen
Ramen is the only item on the menu, but the price changes depending on what toppings you put on it.
I want char siu with my ramen, and when I get Hakata tonkotsu, I also want wood ear mushrooms, so...Charshu wood ear mushroom ramen (1,500 yen)” I ordered.
The rice bowl is ready in about 3 minutes.
I was overwhelmed by the amount of wood ear mushrooms.
Let's get it then.
Soup
It has a very creamy and rich taste.
It has a smooth texture, and there are no rough bones or other impressions.
This is the thickest tonkotsu ramen I've ever had.(I don't really eat tonkotsu ramen that much...)
Noodles
It's quite a thin noodle.
It gave the impression that it was easy to slurp, and I could feel the flavor of wheat.
Chashu (Braised Pork)
Although it's thinly sliced, I think it's worth the extra charge since there are 5 pieces on it.
It was seasoned with pork belly and had a good balance of flavor between meat and fat.
By the way, the wood ear mushrooms seemed a little overcooked, and they were more chewy than crunchy, so it might have been better to not add them as a topping. .
Kaedama
Since it is a great opportunity,Kaedama (200 yen)” I asked.
They also have half-replacement balls, so you can order according to your stomach, which is a nice consideration.
I added chili peppers from the table to change the taste.
I felt that the spiciness was added and the overall flavor tightened up.
By the way, there is only chili pepper on the table.
Curry Kaedama
There was something called ``Curry Kaedama (300 yen),'' so I asked for this.
They also have curry kaedama and half kaedama, so this is also a nice consideration.
As the name suggests, this dish consists of noodles covered in curry sauce.
First, I tried sipping it as is.
The curry didn't have that strong of an impression, and I got the impression that I was eating soupless ramen with a strong curry flavor.
Let's put it in soup and eat it.
It's really tonkotsu ramen with a curry flavor.
There is a curry that uses tonkotsu soup stock, but I get the impression that the ratio of the flavors has been reversed to make the tonkotsu more intense.
I had the impression that they were able to change the taste without deviating from the framework of tonkotsu ramen.
Impressions
I was able to enjoy the strongest tonkotsu ramen of my life.
The different flavors of the curry are interesting, so I recommend you to visit at least once.
However, it's too rich, so when I eat the tonkotsu ramen here, I wonder if I'll at least enjoy the tonkotsu ramen that day. . It becomes.
If you are visiting for business or traveling, we recommend that you visit on the last day of your trip, as this will hinder your ability to compare the food.
