Ramen Kanade

Today is ``Whiskey Lovers Nagoya 2024We are participating in a whiskey event called ``.

[My First Whisky Event of 2024!!] Whisky Lovers Nagoya 2024 Report

There were some booths inside the event venue that served food, but it seemed like it would be difficult to get a table because it was crowded, so we decided to eat outside the venue.

By the way, you can come and go freely at the event as long as you wear the lanyard given to you at the reception.

When you search for ramen near Fukiage Station, where the venue, Fukiage Hall, is located, the first thing that comes up is ``Ramen Kanade”.

らーめん奏 (吹上/ラーメン)

This is a famous restaurant that was selected as a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

I visited there last year when I participated in Whiskey Lovers Nagoya 2023, but at that time I was late and couldn't eat it because I ran out of ingredients. .

This year, I visited a little earlier, around 12:30.

Shio char siu + large serving + flavored egg

It was a meal ticket system and only cash could be used.

The menu is basically ``Shio』、『soy sauce』、『NiboshiThere are three choices.

The store's recommendation is ``Shio” So, “Shio Char Siu (1,000 yen)』、『Large size (100 yen)』、『Flavored egg (150 yen)” was selected.

The total is 1,250 yen.

The rice bowl is served in about 5 minutes after being seated.

Soup

Let's start with the soup.

Although the soup is said to be neutral, it was delicious and you could really feel the flavor of the kelp and chicken.

Noodles

The noodles are thin and straight.

The noodles seemed to absorb the flavor of the soup and had a nice chewy texture.

Chashu (Braised Pork)

There are two types of chashu: pork and chicken, and both are cooked at a low temperature.

Both are delicious and bring out the flavor.

The chicken in particular was breast meat, but the chashu was so juicy and flavorful that I wondered how it was made.

This is a level that cannot be reproduced with a home low-temperature cooking machine.

Flavored egg

As for the flavored eggs, they were half-boiled, but they were just delicious.

Impressions

Both the noodles and chashu are delicious, but the most delicious thing is the soup.

I couldn't help but drink it all.

I purposely put off thinking about the wait time, but it's delicious and the restaurant is so popular that it's even been selected as a Michelin Bib Gourmand, so it's only natural that there will be a line.

I think we waited in line for about an hour.

We started lining up around 12:30 and the rice bowl arrived around 1:30.

The inside of the store is not large, with 5 counter seats and 1 table for 2 people.

In terms of guidance, there is no one seat available so one person is not let through first, but they are guided in order, so the turnover rate is poor.

I think it took about an hour and a half after waiting in line for an hour and factoring in time to eat and time to move around.

That means I haven't been able to participate in the event for that amount of time, so I'll have to think about it a bit if I'm asked if I'll come back next year. .

If you skip the event, I think it's worth waiting in line for an hour to eat, so I recommend visiting with plenty of time.

Also, after 1:00 pm, there was a sign that the store was closed due to out of ingredients, so I recommend visiting early.
