Stand-up Sushi Tsune
Today I came to Ikebukuro to drink whiskey.
It's hard to drink straight whiskey on an empty stomach, so I decided to fill myself up with some sushi before heading to the bar.
So, ``Standing Sushi Sushi Tsune Tobu Ikebukuro Branch”.
The store is located near the Tobu Tojo Line ticket gate inside Ikebukuro Station.
The underground area of Ikebukuro Station is a maze if you're not used to it, so if you don't have a good sense of geography, it might be difficult to visit.
I visited around 14:30, but there was one person waiting first, and I had to wait about 10 minutes to enter.

For drinks, I ordered draft beer.
The brand was Super Dry.
Set of 3 pieces of shellfish
My preference is to order shellfish first.
I ordered a 3-piece set of shellfish, red shellfish, and scallops.
If you are seated at the counter, orders are placed verbally.

Although the texture was good, I felt that the flavor was weak.

When I chewed it, I could feel the sweetness and it was delicious.
To be honest, the overall quality of the shellfish was low, and the shari was a little sticky.
My impression so far was that I thought I would just eat this and go home.
Squid 3 piece set
Well, I waited for about 10 minutes before entering the store, so I thought I'd order some more.
A set of 3 pieces of squid: red squid, spear squid, and sumika.

This was the most delicious of the 3 pieces of squid set.

Sprinkled with salt and lemon.
It's sticky and sweet, and the salt and lemon make it even sweeter.
The squid was overall average.
It was delicious so I decided to continue ordering.

First of all, I knew it was delicious when it looked pure white.
When I ate it, it felt quite greasy, had no odor, and was surprisingly delicious.
Tuna 3 piece set
When I came to a sushi restaurant, I expected tuna, so I ordered a 3-piece tuna set.

Although it had some umami, I felt that the taste was bland.

When I put it in my mouth, it disappeared instantly.
Since it was a large fatty fish, it felt greasy, but it wasn't greasy.
Pieces 13-16: Sardines
I was planning to end my meal with tuna, but I couldn't forget the deliciousness of the sardines, so I ordered them separately.
It's seriously delicious. .

Impressions
The bill for draft beer and 16 pieces was 3,333 yen.
As you may have guessed by now, the sardines were the most delicious.
The runner-up would be horse mackerel and red squid.
This time we mainly focused on sets, but the reason for this is that orders are basically two pieces each.
For example, in the case of a 3-piece set of shellfish (whittle, red clam, and scallop), I personally only want to eat the whelk and red scallop, as I receive a lot of scallops from hometown tax payments.
If you order a single item, you will have to eat 2 pieces each of whelk shellfish and red shellfish, for a total of 4 pieces.
In that case, it would be better to eat one piece of each topping in a 3-piece set, although you can also include scallops.
If I had to pick a negative point, it would be the fact that you order 2 pieces each.
I got the impression that it was relatively cheap, and everything except the shellfish was generally stable, and there were occasionally exceptionally delicious items.
I think it's a pretty easy store to use.
I would like to visit again when the autumn is a little closer and the topic has changed.
