Yakiton Daio Ikebukuro
Today I was drinking whiskey in Ikebukuro.
After drinking, I'll naturally go for something to eat, but before that I'd like to grab a bite to eat.
So, I decided to check out the ``Yakiton'' restaurant that I've been addicted to lately.Yakiton Daio Ikebukuro” I decided to visit.
The store is located in the alley behind Mac at the west exit of Ikebukuro Station.
It's in a great location where you can get there in less than a minute on foot from Exit 9.
I visited after 9:30pm on a Saturday, and since I was alone, I was seated at the counter without waiting.
Now let's have a drink.
Nama Beeru (Draft Beer)
Since Bin Beeru (Bottled Beer) was not on the menu,Draft beer (539 yen)” was selected.
The brand was Kirin Ichiban Shibori.
Until recently, I was drinking whiskey, but beer is also delicious.
Otoshi (Appetizer)
『Appetizer (210 yen)' is a pickle, and it was a pickled cucumber and a pickled cucumber.
It's the kind of quality you'd find in a supermarket, or rather, it's something you'd find in a supermarket.
I'd gladly pay 200 yen for this rather than being charged 500 yen for a bad appetizer.
Of course, it's best not to have appetizers. .
Japanese senmai sashimi

I felt it was a little stiff.
Since it has sesame oil on it, I felt that the sesame oil was too thick when I ate it as is.
When I dipped it in the sauce and ate it, I felt a strong garlic taste from the sauce itself.
Overall, I couldn't really feel the texture and flavor of the senmai. .
Shirokoro
You can order a minimum of 2 skewers.
So, ``Shirokoro (55 yen per piece)” I asked for two copies.
55 yen per bottle is cheap.
I ordered it with the image of something juicy like Atsugi's shirokoro hormone, but it was a little different from what I had imagined.
It was the type that was well-cooked, had a crispy texture, and I got the impression that the fat had gone down quite a bit.

It had a good amount of fat and had just the right amount of chewiness.

It's juicy and has a strong meaty flavor.
It was a negima with green onions in the middle, and I was glad that I could taste the sweetness of the green onions.
I took a photo of just Kashira, but it's blurry, so I guess he was pretty drunk at the time. .

Finally, ``Skirt steak (154 yen per piece)'And this was salt.
This also doesn't come out very well. .
This is also juicy and has a firm texture.
In terms of fleshiness, I had a stronger impression of skirt steak than the aforementioned kashira.
Impressions
The bill was 2,981 yen, including 2 draft beers, 1 Otsumami (Snacks) item, and 4 types of skewers (8 pieces).
The fact that you can order from 2 skewers was a big hit, and for a single person, the amount of food and the price was a bit hefty.
I think it might not be suitable for one person.
If I had to honestly describe my impressions of the taste in one word, it would be ``fair to bad''.
It's not bad at all, but I don't think there was anything particularly delicious about it. .
There are a lot of yakiton restaurants in Ikebukuro, so I honestly wonder if there will be another one next time.
『Yakiton Daioh” seems to have other stores in Ueno and Akabane, both of which are hot spots for drinking bars. .
So, even if I visit Ueno or Akabane, I'll probably go to another store. . I think so.
This is a relatively new yakiton restaurant, and while I don't dislike these kinds of restaurants, it's true that new yakiton restaurants can be quite hit or miss.
This time, it blurred towards the bottom. .
I am determined to open a new yakiton restaurant without getting discouraged.
