Yomoda Soba Yurakucho Branch
Until recently,Hote-chan Yurakucho store” I was drinking it.

After drinking it, it's natural to finish it off.
Normally I'd want to go for ramen, but the only ramen restaurants open on Sundays around Yurakucho Station are chain restaurants. .
A chain store would be fine, but you would have to walk all the way to Hibiya, which would be a bit of a hassle. .
I thought for a moment that I might end my meal with rice, but I don't feel like ramen at all, but at least I want to end my meal with some soupy noodles. .
So, ``Yomoda Soba Yurakucho Branch” I decided to visit.

As the name suggests, this is a stand-up soba restaurant.
This is my first visit to this restaurant, but Yomoda Soba is a chain restaurant that operates mainly in Tokyo and Nagoya.Yomoda Soba Shinjuku West Exit” I have visited there.

Yomoda Soba not only serves soba noodles, but its specialty is Indian curry, and it is a rare restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Indian curry at a soba restaurant.
The last time I visited was in March 2024, so this will be my first visit in about a year.
Personally, I usually eat stand-up soba in the morning, and when I go there in the morning, I tend to go to independent restaurants rather than chain restaurants.
I don't go to chain stand-up soba restaurants unless I have time or for a good reason like I did this time, so I don't have many opportunities to visit them. .
I visited on a Sunday around 17:00 and was able to enter the store without waiting.
Shungiku tempura soba cold
The food is ticket-based, and you purchase it at the ticket vending machine right after you enter the store.
In addition to cash, you can use transportation IC cards at the ticket machines.
This is a blessing for cashless people.
This time, “Shungikuten soba cold (560 yen)” was selected.
It would have been nice to have it warm, but it was so hot for March that day that I was sweating, so I decided to cool it down.
After purchasing the meal ticket, hand it to the clerk.
The air conditioner was working inside the restaurant and it was quite cold, so I thought it would have been nice to have some warm soba noodles. .
Within 5 minutes of placing your order, you will be called to pick it up.
Let's get it then.
Tsuyu (Dipping Broth)
I get the impression that the soup has a salty taste to it.
I don't feel the soup stock of bonito or kelp.
Well, it can't be helped that it's cold. .
Soba Noodles
I didn't really feel the flavor of soba.
The soba itself was well-coated and cold, but it didn't have much chewiness and had a noticeable crumbly texture.
Shungikuten
Now, let's move on to the main dish, Shungikuten.
『Hote-chan Yurakucho store'However, there were garland chrysanthemums in the garland chrysanthemum salad and beef belly sukiyaki hotpot, so today is the garland chrysanthemum festival.
It is fried into a bouquet shape.
It is then cut into leaves and stems.
The leaves have a crisp texture and a strong grassy smell typical of shungiku.
The stems have a more grassy smell and a bitter taste.
It was the best dish for shungiku lovers.
Although it was fried, it was crispy.
Impressions
The shungikuten was delicious, but the soba noodles were honestly a bit bland.
Huh? I guess it was like this. . ?
Last time I ate it, I wish it had more of a strong soba flavor. .
Generally speaking, the aroma of soba is more pronounced when it's cold than when it's warm. .
I should have eaten something warm. . ?
Not only this store, but when I visit Yomoda Soba again, I would like to try the warm one and check it out.
