Karaage Senmon Kimisei
Today we are visiting the area between Tameike Sanno and Roppongi 1-chome.
The schedule took longer than expected, so I decided to have lunch, even though I wasn't originally planning on eating there.
So, ``Karaage Senmon Kimisei” I visited.

The store is located on the 1st floor (above ground) of Roppongi Grand Tower, which is directly connected to Roppongi-Itchome Station.
I visited around 14:00 and was able to get in without waiting, but the restaurant was so popular that it was nearly full.
Chicken Nanban Zen (Chicken Nanban Set)
The entrance is divided into take-out and eat-in sections, and you enter on the eat-in side.
It was a system that read the QR code on the seat and ordered from your smartphone.
Payment can be made using a QR code (PayPay) on your smartphone.
This time, “Chicken Nanban Zen (Chicken Nanban Set) (1,280 yen)” was selected.
It was served in less than 10 minutes after ordering.
The ingredients are chicken nanban, cabbage, pickles, rice, and soup.
Refills on cabbage, rice, and soup are free.
Let's get it then.
chicken nanban
Since it's chicken nanban, it has sweet and sour sauce on top of the fried chicken, and tartar sauce on top.
The size of each fried chicken is quite large, and the tartar sauce contains so much that it's almost the size of a whole boiled egg, making it very satisfying to eat.
However, what is overwhelmingly disappointing is that the karaage is fried. .
Part of the kitchen is like an open kitchen, so when you watch the cooking process, you can see that the fried chicken is kept warm with a heater like hot snacks at convenience stores.
As expected, the fried chicken is not completely cold, but it is slightly warm.
The sweet and sour sauce and tartar sauce were so cold that even the fried chicken felt cold.
As the temperature drops, the fat becomes more noticeable and it feels quite heavy. .
There is also a regular fried chicken meal that does not come with cold sauce, so this may have been the correct choice. .
rice
The rice is normal.
Although it is a hinomaru bento that is heavy and has umeboshi on it. .
Soup
The soup has a gentle taste with a hint of chicken stock.
To put it poorly, it can be said that it has no taste because the chicken stock is modest and the salty taste is too light. .
Pickles
The pickles are pickled in a pot, and a small amount of kinpira burdock is also included.
There is also pickled cabbage on the table.
Both taste as good as they look.
Impressions
It was overwhelmingly disappointing that the main karaage was fried. .
It is understandable that if you fry every order, the delivery will be delayed and you won't be able to make it through lunch time.
However, if it takes less than 10 minutes to serve, I would like the karaage to be served piping hot, either by refrying it at the end or by using lentils. .
I wonder if the bad time was around 14:00, a little after the peak lunch time. .
The fact that cabbage, rice, and soup come with free refills is a big plus, but personally, I felt that the main dish, fried chicken, was disappointing, as if it canceled out those plus points. .
However, the benefit of free refills seems to be huge, and I get the impression that most of the customers are young people in their 20s.
Although it is located in Roppongi 1-chome, which is a little far from The Roppongi, I think it is valuable to find a restaurant in a prime location in Minato Ward where you can eat to your heart's content, and the karaage (deep-fried chicken) is very filling, and costs around 1,000 yen.
I think this is the perfect restaurant to satisfy that appetite, but I don't think it's suitable for people who are looking for a certain level of quality rather than quantity.
