Kuro Shoga Ramen Shoyu (Black Ginger Soy Sauce Ramen)
When I hear the word ginger ramen, as someone from Niigata, I think of Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen.
It is popular not only in Nagaoka City but also in Niigata City, and the most famous shop is ``Aoshima restaurant”I think so.
There is also a store in Akihabara in Tokyo, but it is a popular store so you will have to wait in line.
Although it is a chain store,Nagaoka Shokudo” can also be found at Tokyo Station, etc., and although it has a similar taste, it is somehow different. .

In Tokyo, the only option is Akihabara, but as someone from Niigata, I want to eat more casually on a regular basis, so I've been wandering around various Nagaoka ginger and soy sauce ramen restaurants.
So, I decided to visit this store, which I had been interested in for a while.
This time we will introduce the most orthodox “Black ginger ramen (soy sauce) 990 yen” was selected.
By the way, ``White ginger ramen (salt) 990 yen”, but I chose black soy sauce because I thought it would be ginger soy sauce ramen.
The rice bowl was served in about 5 minutes after handing over the ticket.
Let's get it then.
Soup
You can feel the slight hint of ginger and the richness of soy sauce.
In Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen, you can also taste the pork stock, but in this soup, you can feel the flavor of chemical seasoning.
I think you can look at it as ginger soy sauce ramen, but it's not Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen.
If it's ginger soy sauce ramen, I wouldn't have anything to complain about, but I can't help but complain about the word "Gattsuri Nagaoka" used in the store name and signboard.
Noodles
The noodles are medium thick and have a springy, angular texture.
It's boiled to a firm consistency, and when you bite into it, you can really feel the wheat.
I liked the way it was boiled, but it had a strong wheat flavor, which made the noodles stand out, and I got the impression that it didn't go well with the soup.
Chashu (Braised Pork)
Nagaoka Ginger Soy Sauce Ramen has thinly sliced pork on top, but this one only has one piece.
And, although the flavor is strong, the texture is dry due to the moisture being removed, perhaps because it has been soaked in the Kaeshi too much.
Honestly, is this meat? . ?It's at a level that makes me think.
Komatsuna
Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen has spinach on it, but this restaurant had komatsuna.
At a restaurant that only makes dashi from seafood such as sea bream, it goes well with slightly flavorful green vegetables such as komatsuna, but I got the impression that the ginger soy sauce was a little too strong.
Komatsuna is generally cheaper than spinach, so I think the purpose is to cut costs, but it's better not to use it.
Impressions and Rating
It's ginger soy sauce ramen, not Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen.
There were some differences here and there, and I felt that they were both similar and different from Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen.
The noodles, soup, chashu pork, and komatsuna all didn't go well together, and I got the impression that each one was facing a different direction, so even when I looked at the ginger soy sauce ramen, I thought it was a food court or school cafeteria level ramen.
The word Nagaoka in the restaurant name reminds me of Nagaoka Ginger Soy Sauce Ramen, but I don't want people to think of it as Nagaoka Ginger Soy Sauce Ramen.
I want people to understand that Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen is even more delicious. .
I don't want you to misunderstand that Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen is like this. . I thought that, but it will be closed on Friday, August 8, 2025. .
After all, if you want to eat Nagaoka ginger soy sauce ramen, the current situation is that you have no choice but to head to Akihabara. .
