Visit and Queue Information
Visit date: July 2026 weekdays
Visit time: Around 11:15
Queue: 2 people (groups) waiting, about 5 minutes
Crowd status: Store full
Seat: counter seat
I was visiting the Kanda area from Akihabara for some business.
Originally “Kanda Ramen Waizu'', but there was a long line of people waiting for over an hour, so I changed my plans and went to ``Chiechan Ramen' I'm heading to.

When I visited around 11:15 on a weekday, the restaurant was full and there were two people (groups) waiting.
There was a customer coming out of the store after just one round, and I was able to enter the store in about 5 minutes.
I took a seat at the counter and my bowl was ready in about 5 minutes.
This is my third visit to the store, but it's been about two years since July 2024 that I've eaten Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Noodles).
The last time I ate Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Noodles), the situation was ``here』

Ordering and Payment
Payment method: cash, transportation IC card
Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Ramen)
This time I ordered “Chinese noodles (900 yen)”.
Last time I ate the same Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Noodles), I honestly didn't think it was to my liking.
I'm eating Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Noodles) for the first time in about two years, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it has changed.
Shiro Meshi (White Rice) is free, and you can get it by asking the staff when your ramen is served.
Refills are also available.
So let's have it.
Soup
Last time, the soy sauce was modest and I got the impression that it was more like salt ramen than soy sauce ramen.
This soup is the big point that I didn't like last time.
This time, the soy sauce had a strong effect, and it stuck to my taste in terms of soy sauce taste.
My impression is quite different from when I ate it two years ago.
On the other hand, it felt like the soy sauce was too strong, and the pork flavor was modest.
I was able to enjoy the soup with a clear outline of soy sauce.
Noodles
The noodles are Daruma Seimen, which is familiar to Chan-kei.
Slightly flat, you can enjoy a pillowy sipping sensation.
Last time I felt it was a bit overcooked, but this time it had a slightly firmer texture, which I like.
The chewy texture that you can feel in the second half of eating is also nice.
Chashu (Braised Pork)
You can really feel the flavor of pork from the chashu.
It's regular Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Noodles), but the good thing about it is that it contains the same amount of Chashu-men (Ramen with Roast Pork) as you would find at other ramen shops.
You can enjoy chashu to the fullest.
Shiro Meshi (White Rice)
Shiro Meshi (White Rice) is cooked to just the right amount, neither too hard nor too soft.
Last time I was worried about the uneven cooking, but this time it was delicious.
You can also serve as many kappa as you like on the table.
Finally, soak the green onions in the soup to soften them before placing them on top of the Shiro Meshi (White Rice).
I stirred in some Shiro Meshi (White Rice) with the green onions that had soaked up the soup, and enjoyed the meal.
Impressions and Rating
For the first time in about two years,Chiechan Ramen” of “Chuka Soba (Chinese-Style Ramen)” I received it.
Last time, the soy sauce was modest and I felt it was similar to salt ramen, but this time, the soy sauce was strong and the taste was closer to my preference.
The noodles also have a firmer texture than last time, and you can enjoy everything from the pillowy slurpiness to the chewy texture in the second half.
The Shiro Meshi (White Rice) was well-cooked, and overall I felt it was more delicious than two years ago.
If this is the case, I would think it would be a good idea to stop by again when visiting Kanda.
However, in my personal Chankei ranking, I think it's still in the low to mid-range.
Personally, I thinkNew Tomochin” I like the taste.

Although they are generally all chan-kei, the strength of the soy sauce and the flavor of the pork vary slightly depending on the store.
If you are trying Chankei for the first time, I think it is best to visit one store first and then decide which store to visit next depending on whether you are looking for a soy sauce or pork taste.
I would like to post a lot of articles like this.
