It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Akashi Station, and the shop is located on a small street just off the main street.
I visited around 12:00, and although there was no line, it seemed like the customers were coming in and out one by one.

Today was Monday, so some people were there for lunch, but the taste of the dish was even better than usual.

Yakisoba
The famous ``Yakisoba (450 yen)” I ordered.
It's not really udon, but it's thick noodles.
Char siu is used for the meat, and the vegetables include a little cabbage.
And as you can see, it tastes like a strong sauce.
It's not that big of a deal, and it has a strong flavor, so it's perfect as a snack for beer.
Wonton noodles
Just after drinking and eating beer and yakisoba, I found another specialty, ``Wonton noodles (550 yen)' has arrived.
Yakisoba and wonton noodles are an unusual combination, but it seems to be a common ordering method at Koyoken.
Most of the visitors, not only men but also women, ordered fried noodles, wonton noodles, or ramen.
Noodles
The noodles are medium thick straight noodles.
It has a chewy texture.
I felt that the yakisoba noodles were a little thick.
Wonton
Wonton is a type that has a smooth texture that allows you to enjoy the dough.
I didn't feel the filling that much.
Soup
It has a traditional taste of pork and soy sauce base.
Maybe it was because we ate it with the same chopsticks, but I also felt the fruity and spicy taste of the sauce.
Impressions
The first thing that will surprise you is the price.
Bottled beer (medium): 450 yen, Yakisoba: 450 yen, Wonton noodles: 550 yen, totaling 1,450 yen, you'll be surprised at how cheap it is.
If you were to order the same menu in Tokyo, it would probably cost 1.5 to 2 times more.
Although the taste is not flashy, you can feel the traditional taste.
The atmosphere of the shop also has a Showa era feel to it.
There were some concerns about hygiene, such as the cups being served wet, so I thought some people might not like this.
This is a recommended restaurant for those who like an old-fashioned atmosphere.
There were two employees working in the hall and in the kitchen, but both of them were elderly, so I wanted them to take care of themselves and not push themselves too hard, but it was a restaurant that I would like to see continue for a long time.
