I go to bars and liquor stores to drink whiskey, but there aren't many whiskeys that really hit me in August 2024, and there were a lot of whiskeys that were delicious, but I'd give up on them considering the price. .

This bottle commemorates the 10th anniversary of a bar in Kyoto called Kisaka Ikusei, which specializes in medicinal drinks.
As a genre, it is a medicinal/herbal liqueur.

This is a gin from Sakurao Distillery, which is also famous for its whisky.
The 2024 version of this year's gin is released every year using Hamago, which grows wild on Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture.
I tried drinking it with gin soda, but at first I felt the flavor of juniper berries and it had the nuances of a regular craft gin.
When the temperature cools down, I think it will have a minty, refreshing taste that makes you think of Hamagou.
So, I think it will be easier to pick up the porcupine if you carefully steer the temperature and lower the temperature.
The price is 2,860 yen, which is cheaper than the whiskey I've bought so far, so I think one of its appeals is that it's easy to try.
