Shibu Soba Ikebukuro store
Today, I took paid leave on a weekday and visited Ikebukuro during the day.
After this, I had a quick drink at a whiskey bar, and then attended a whiskey seminar, which was quite a demanding schedule.
Well, it's a plan I made myself. .
I'm leaving home a little late, so I don't have time to casually have lunch. .
I don't want to eat straight whiskey on an empty stomach, so I decided to visit a stand-up soba restaurant where I can serve and eat my soba in a short amount of time.
Speaking of Ikebukuro's standing soba noodles, I personally think of ``Soutei JR Ikebukuro Central Exit Store'However, since the shop is located inside the JR ticket gate and I came by subway today, I cannot visit it.

Well, you can visit by paying the 150 yen entrance ticket. .
So, outside the ticket gate,Shibu Soba Ikebukuro store” I decided to visit.

The store is located inside the Tobu Hope Center in the basement of Ikebukuro Station.
Ikebukuro's basement is a light maze, so it may be difficult to find it if you're not used to it. .
Shibu Soba is a Tokyu-affiliated company, so they basically have stores along the Tokyu Line, such as in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Although the Tokyu Line does not pass through Ikebukuro, for some reason there is a store there, and it has a strange structure as it is located inside Tobu.
I visited around 14:00 on a weekday, and the store seemed about 80% full.
Although it is a standing soba restaurant, there are mostly chair seats, and there are fewer standing seats.
If there are chair seats and standing seats, of course I will choose the standing seats.
It creates a better atmosphere.
Kakiage Soba
There is a ticket system, and you purchase your food at the ticket machine outside the store before entering the store.
Since it is located inside Ikebukuro Station, you can use cash, transportation IC cards, and various electronic money at the ticket machine.
Enter the store, hand your ticket to the staff, take a seat, and wait to be called.
This time it's safe 'Kakiage soba (580 yen)” was selected.
I was called within about a minute.
Let's get it then.
Soba Noodles
The soba noodles have an impression of being quite thin and easy to slurp.
There was a good soba flavor as well.
Tsuyu (Dipping Broth)
Kanto type with bonito soup stock and maple seasoning.
It gives the impression of a balanced type where neither side's arguments are that strong.
I'm glad that seaweed comes with it by default.
Kakiage
The main ingredient is onions, with some sakura shrimp and carrots here and there.
Although it is fried, it still has a crispy texture.
I'm a person who saves my favorite things for last, but I usually eat about half of the tempura in my soba noodles first.
Otherwise, you won't be able to enjoy the crispy texture.
Of course, in the second half, we will soak up the soup and enjoy the delicious tempura.
Impressions
I finished eating in about 5 minutes and left the restaurant.
Shibu soba was delicious as usual.
I think stand-up soba noodles should be cheap, quick, and reasonably delicious, so I use "ordinary" as a compliment.
However, if you have time, there will be ``Tokyo Underground Ramen Gunsha”, and nearby is “Tachikui Sakura Sushi”, so I think you might end up visiting these. .

I think I'll visit again if I don't have time and am outside the JR ticket gate like I did this time.
