Kaenzan Lanzhou Lamian Ikebukuro
When you think of Ikebukuro, you probably have a lot of images in mind, one of which is ``Ikebukuro''.Serious Chinese foodI think there is.
There are many restaurants that serve authentic Chinese food for Chinese people living in Japan, rather than Chinese food tailored for Japanese people.
This time, we will introduce Lanshu Ramen restaurant, 'Kaenzan Lanzhou Lamian Ikebukuro” Visit.

The flame mountain is ``Kaenzan” It seems to read.
It's cool, and it tickles my 2nd year middle school heart.
I visited around 7:30pm on a weekday, and the restaurant was almost full.
Lanzhou Lamian Limited Set
Personally, I really like Chinese food, but the problem I have every time is ordering.
When ordering verbally, it is often difficult to understand not only Japanese but also English.
I can somehow guess whether it's meat or fish based on the kanji, but I don't know the details. .
However, recently, ordering using QR codes and tablets has been introduced, and menu images are included in the language, so the chances of having trouble ordering are decreasing.
This store also allows you to scan a QR code and order from your smartphone, so you don't have to worry.
The clerk was Chinese, but his Japanese seemed OK.
This time, the set includes the standard Lanzhou Ramen, Ajitama (Seasoned Egg), and sheep skewers.Lanzhou Lamian Limited Set (1,300 yen)” was selected.
As I mentioned earlier, in addition to cash, I was able to use PayPay for payment.
The rice bowl arrived in about 5 minutes after ordering.
Let's get it then.
Lanzhou Ramen
I haven't explained Lanzhou Ramen before, but this is Lanzhou Ramen.
Its characteristics include soup made from beef bones, chili oil, and cilantro, and the noodles are straight and not chewy.
In some cases, radish may also be included.
When you hear the word real Chinese food, you imagine something hot, spicy, or strong in flavor, but as you can see, it's very light.
The chili oil may be a little spicy, but it just floats on the surface of the soup, so even those who don't like spicy food can enjoy it.
Soup
The soup has a strong flavor from the beef bones.
It's a little early at 7:30 pm, but I've already drunk more than 10 glasses of straight whiskey beforehand, and I'm finished.
The flavor and salt concentration are just right at the end of the drink.
The part with chili oil adds a little spiciness and is a nice accent.
Noodles
You can choose from several types of noodles, and the most orthodox type is ``thin noodles” was selected.
You can tell that it is handmade because there are uneven thicknesses in some places.
The noodles are longer and less chewy.
It has a strong wheat flavor and also uses kansui, so it has a similar taste to Japanese ramen.
Chashu (Braised Pork)
It's char siu or beef.
It contained 3 pieces of thinly sliced beef.
The flavor of the beef remained strong, and since it was thin, it didn't feel too dry.
Flavored egg
When I read the Chinese food Ajitama (Seasoned Egg), I imagined it to be a tea leaf egg boiled in tea, but it turned out to be a regular Ajitama (Seasoned Egg).
In Japan, ramen is half-cooked, but in China, it is often fully cooked.
The food at this store was half-boiled, so it's better than Japan in this respect.
sheep skewer
It's grilled lamb skewers.
It's as spicy as it looks, and goes well with the taste of the lamb.
Although it is a Lanzhou ramen shop, it tastes like a strong beer like the lamb skewers you get at a serious Chinese skewer restaurant.
With this taste, I think you can expect to find Otsumami (Snacks) menu items, so it might be a good idea to drink it here.
Impressions
Lanzhou Ramen was delicious.
Although it is light, you can feel the flavor of the beef bone well, and it is filling, so I think it is perfect to finish your drink, so I would like to recommend Lanzhou Ramen at the end of your drink.
There are other Lanshu Ramen shops in Ikebukuro other than this one, so I would be happy to introduce them to you.
