Midori Echika Ikebukuro
Today, I'll eat and drink a lot in Ikebukuro from noon, and then just go home.
『When will you come back?” I got a LINE message from my wife saying, “I'm going home now” When I reply, “buy some sushi”
『Yes, I would be happy to buy it and take it home.” and replied, “Midori Echika Ikebukuro' I'll head straight away.

I used to eat in at this store previously, but they also sell packaged sushi for takeout.
I visited around 6pm, and as expected, there were about 5 groups waiting for eat-in, and it was so popular that it took about 5 minutes to buy take-out.
I bought it safely and then I went home.
If you purchase take-out food, we will provide you with a free ice pack, so you can take it home with peace of mind even in this hot season.
Tokusen Nigiri (Premium Nigiri)
This time, “Tokusen Nigiri (Premium Nigiri) (1,814 yen including tax)” I purchased it.
My wife's mood affects everything in the house, so I bought the one that looked best.
The contents are from top left to right:Big fatty tuna, herring roe, medium fatty tuna, amberjack (?), scallop, egg, shrimp, sea urchin, salmon roe, conger eel” All 10 pieces.
I feel that 1,800 yen for a packaged sushi is quite expensive.
However, 10 pieces costs 1,800 yen, so each piece costs 180 yen.
If you think that you can eat high quality toppings such as otoro, medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, and conger eel for 180 yen per piece, I think it's quite cheap.
While my wife ate some of it, I also had some, so I'll write down what the two of us thought about it.
1st piece: Toro
It's so fatty that it feels like eating meat.
Shari felt quite large.
If the toppings are punchy like otoro, you won't notice the size too much, but some toppings may feel too big.
2nd piece: Herring roe
It has a bubble texture.
Since there was no fat, the wasabi felt quite harsh.
3rd piece: Medium Toro
This is also more greasy than it looks.
4th piece: Amberjack
It has no odor and is delicious.
5th piece: Scallop
There was no smell, but the flavor was weak and the meat seemed too soft.
6th piece: Egg
Well, it's a normal egg.
7th piece: shrimp
It is delicious with no odor and a crisp texture.
8th piece: Sea urchin
The alum smell comes first, but you can also feel the sweetness.
9th piece: Salmon roe
The grains are small and have no skin texture.
I think it tastes good because it's not too salty and you can taste the umami.
10th piece: Conger eel
There is a slight odor, but I think it is tolerable.
Toro Takumaki
Considering the possibility that there may be insufficientToro Takumaki (540 yen)” I also purchased it.
It felt more like a takuan roll, with the taste and texture of the takuan being noticeable, without much of a fatty taste.
Impressions
With Tokusen Nigiri (Premium Nigiri) and Toro Takumaki, the bill was 2,354 yen.
I think it would be better to eat it at the eat-in stand-up restaurant in the same restaurant. .
If it's take-out sushi, I think it's top-class delicious.
At least I think it's definitely better than takeout from a supermarket or conveyor belt sushi chain.
If you're not good at it, it might be better than eating at a conveyor belt sushi chain restaurant.
This time I went out of my way to please my wife, but of course there are other menu items besides Tokusen Nigiri (Premium Nigiri).
If you don't need fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, conger eel, etc., I think the cheapest option would be 10 pieces for about 900 yen.
Single items were also available, and rolls were sold for around 400 to 500 yen, while nigiri, which contained three pieces of one type of topping, were sold for around 300 to 500 yen.
We also have family menus for 2 to 3 people, so I think it's a good idea to have a certain amount of freedom.
The store is not located near the JR line, but near the Fukutoshin Line platform, so it may be difficult for some people to get there, but please remember this when you return from Ikebukuro.
