I've known about the existence of Original New Tantan Men for a while, but this is my first time visiting and eating there.

Otsumami (Snacks) and the alcohol menu are also extensive, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to finish off your drink with Tantanmen.

Although it is not available at the Monzen-Nakacho store, you may be able to eat yakiniku depending on the store.

You can choose the spiciness of the original tantanmen from mild, normal, medium, very spicy, and extremely spicy.Medium spicy” was selected.

As you can see, it looks different from regular Dandan noodles.

Soup

The base is chicken stock, and you can feel the flavor of the pork from the minced pork, the spiciness and sourness of the chili pepper, and the garlic.

I also get a slightly tomato-like impression from the sourness.

Since it was my first time eating it, I was nervous and chose medium spiciness, but my impression was that it was about spicy.

I wish it had been one level spicy. .

Noodles

Medium thick straight noodles.

It has a chewy texture, and the flavor of wheat is strong enough to offset the impact of the soup.

Ingredients

Although it doesn't contain chashu, there are plenty of other ingredients.

It contains lots of beaten eggs and minced pork.

It seems like 1.5 to 2 eggs are used for the beaten eggs, so it's quite filling.

Han Rice (Half Rice)

To be honest, I would have been fine with just the original tantanmen, but as I looked at the menu, I felt that rice was a must-order, so I chose the set with half rice.

As I continued to eat the original tantanmen, I realized that there were a lot of ingredients left over.

You can eat it as is, but since I had rice available, I decided to have it on the rice.

I added a little bit of the soup and served it to my uncle, and it tasted like I was right to order half rice.

A small amount of Otsumami (Snacks) bean sprouts was also provided.

It's a little spicy, or maybe it's just red. . That's bean sprouts.

Impressions and Rating

I ate at Ganso New Tantanmen Honpo for the first time and it was delicious.

I was impressed by the spiciness and filling, and how well it went well with the rice.

I didn't add any toppings this time, but when I looked into it, it seems like it's highly customizable, such as egg and garlic.

Next time, I would like to make it spicier and play with the toppings.

Not only Monzennakacho, but within Tokyo, my area of action is Shibuya, Ikebukuro, and Shinbashi, so I would like to use it as a way to finish off a drink.
