Cosmo Plaza Akabane
I visited Saitama Stadium 2002 for Albirex Niigata's away match against Urawa.
After watching the game, we moved to Akabane and enjoyed bar hopping, and since it would be a hassle to return home, we decided toCosmo Plaza Akabane” I have reserved it.
This is a sauna accommodation facility for men.
This time I stayed in a capsule room, so I will write a review!
sauna
There are two types of saunas.
- far infrared sauna
- high temperature sauna
Before entering the sauna room, there is a mat that looks like a beetroot board, so you can put this down and enter.
I think this may be because I used it from Sunday night to Monday morning, but neither sauna seemed particularly crowded and I was able to use it comfortably.
far infrared sauna
Although the temperature is close to 80℃, it is considered a low-temperature sauna.
The size is a little small for about 4 people.
Far-infrared rays can slowly warm your body from the core.
It has a TV so you can stay in for a long time.
high temperature sauna
This is a high temperature sauna with temperatures close to 95 degrees Celsius.
There is space for 2 or 3 people to sit together, and there are 2 tiers (upper and lower), as well as 2 log chairs.
The upper layer will be hot and steamed.
water bath
The water bath is on the right side of the image.
The water temperature is 18℃, but because of the water flow, it feels cooler than that.
I think the limit is two people due to the size, but since there is no Loryu service, I think it is unlikely to happen due to timing.
rest spot
There was one chair in the locker and three chairs in the outdoor bath.
The outdoor air bath is in a slightly unique environment between buildings, but I think it's enough to enjoy the outdoor air bath.
There aren't many rest spots, but since there is no Loryu service, I think it's unlikely that you'll get caught in a cold bath.
It was a sunny day so there was no problem, but there is no roof, so on rainy days you might have to scramble for a resting spot.
bath
The bath is on the right side of the image.
There is only one bath, and it is a rather small size that can only accommodate 4 to 5 people.
However, it has an artificial hot spring system called Futamata Radium Hot Springs, so you can enjoy the hot springs.
The quality of the spring water is smooth and there is no scent, so I don't think you would know it is a hot spring unless you are told.
The bathroom is small overall, but since it wasn't at a busy time, we had plenty of space to use it.
It is important to use them in moderation, but I think you can also appreciate the fact that you can use as many hand towels as you like.
capsule room
This time we used the upper level of the capsule room.
The capsule itself is a regular capsule that you can find anywhere.
The panel also allows you to set alarms and control lighting.
There are 2 outlets.
The cleaning was done well and there was nothing to worry about.
Personally, I didn't have any concerns, but there were no amenities such as earplugs or TV earphones, which are often provided at capsule hotels.
If you require earplugs, please prepare them in advance.
There are no earphones for TV, so you need to be careful about the volume when watching TV.
restaurant
There is no restaurant on site.
Therefore, it is OK to bring in food and drinks.

There are vending machines selling not only soft drinks but also alcohol, so you can quench your appetite and thirst without having to go out.
Personally, Akabane is a no-nonsense town, so I enjoyed eating and drinking alcohol outside.
customer base
The customer base seemed to be quite old, in their 40s to 50s or older.
Since the age group was older, there was no conversation inside the sauna.
Overall Assessment
The inside of the building had the impression of being quite old, and I was particularly concerned about the area around the toilets. .
There were some areas where I felt that the cleaning was not done properly, especially around the lockers where people come and go frequently, so this facility is not for everyone, but for those with a certain level of tolerance.
The bathroom and capsule room are clean, so if you just want to sweat and go to bed, you won't have any problems.
The biggest attraction is that you can stay for as low as 2,980 yen with a limited number of rooms, or as low as 3,600 yen if you make a regular reservation, so I think it's a valuable store in Tokyo where hotel costs are soaring.
I would like to use it again when I visit Saitama or the north side of Tokyo.
