Visit and Queue Information
Visit date: April 2026 weekdays
Time of visit: Around 13:00
Queue: none
Crowd status: I get the impression that the store is about 30% full.
Seat: counter seat
I had visited once when I was the second-generation owner, but this was my first visit since the management changed hands.
The second-generation owner retired in 2023, and it is now run by Rivalu Co., Ltd., which operates Ramen Heitaishu and other restaurants.
Perhaps because of this, photography was previously prohibited, but now it is allowed.
There are some differences from before, including business hours.
When I visited previously, the inside of the store had a tingly impression, and there was something that reminded me of Jiro.
Although there is some tingling sensation now, I feel that it is much easier to get into than before.
Ordering and Payment
Payment method: cash, PayPay
If paying with cash, purchase a meal ticket from a ticket machine.
You can also use PayPay, in which case you will need to verbally tell the clerk to pay.
Soy sauce ramen menbari + half rice
This shop is an Asahikawa ramen shop.
Soy sauce ramen's135” menu is famous.
3: Fatty
5: Salty taste
That seems to be what it means.
Ichisango is made with even harder noodles, more fat, and a saltier taste.MenbariThere is a menu called ``Soy sauce ramen menbari (900 yen)” I ordered.
During lunch time, half rice is free, so please ask for half rice as well.
So let's have it.
Soup
First, let's start with the soup.
The garlic and soy sauce, or rather, the maple leaves are very effective.
Rather than the taste of the soup stock, the taste of Kaeshi is quite strong.
To put it in a bad way, it's like instant ramen made from bag noodles with less water and a much stronger flavor.
The salt concentration is also quite high.
I think this is quite picky for some people, but I can see why some people get addicted to this density.
Noodles
The noodles are thin and curly, and are egg noodles.
The noodles themselves have a strong flavor that doesn't overpower the soup.
Since it's called Menbari, the noodles are boiled quite hard.
The soup is quite strong, so it may not be balanced unless the noodles have such a strong presence.
It has the flavor of egg noodles and goes well with the strong soy sauce soup.
Chashu (Braised Pork)
The char siu is a type that has a firm texture.
Unlike the soft char siu of today, it's the type where you can chew and feel the meat.
The flavor of the soup is quite strong, so the char siu itself has a strong presence, including the texture.
Han Rice (Half Rice)
I forgot to take a photo of the half rice.
The doneness of cooking is normal.
The soup is quite thick, so if you order Menbari, I think half rice is required.
Eat noodles, drink some soup, and eat rice.
This flow is good.
In fact, without rice, the second half might be a little tough.
Impressions and Rating
For the first time since the management changed,Tenho” I visited.
Compared to before, the atmosphere was much easier to get into.
Photography is now allowed, and those who knew Tenho in the past may notice some changes, including business hours and payment methods.
However, I get the impression that the direction of taste hasn't changed much.
If you have fond memories of the past, you may be able to experience a sense of nostalgia even if you visit again.
The menbari I ordered this time was quite thick, a little too thick for me personally.
I think I'll try ordering the regular Ichisango next time instead of Menbari.
