Irori-an Kiraku Tokyo Keiyo

Speaking of Niigata's major event held in March,Niigata sake camp”.

[An Amazing All-You-Can-Drink Sake Event] Niigata Sake no Jin 2024 Report

Most of the sake breweries in Niigata Prefecture will be on display, and you can sample most of their brands for free.

Furthermore, you can purchase your favorite stocks on the spot, which is a great event for Nihonshu (Sake) fans.

I'm from Niigata, so of course I know about Sake no Jin.

However, I have never participated before and have recently become interested in Nihonshu (Sake), so this is my first time participating.

The event will be held over two days, Saturday and Sunday, but today is Friday.

Since I have a family home in Niigata, I don't have to pay for accommodation, so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to get in early and enjoy Niigata to the fullest.

So, I came to Tokyo Station in the morning.

The current time is 9:00.

It takes about 2 hours by Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Niigata Station, and we arrive at Niigata Station after 11 o'clock, so I'd like to have something to eat before we go.

The Shinkansen leaves at around 9:30, so it's a perfect time to buy an ekiben, or just barely eat it inside the station.

Even if I wanted to eat inside the station, there weren't many restaurants open in the morning, so this time I decided to try 'Irori-an Kiraku Tokyo Keiyo” I chose to eat it.

Purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine outside the store.

As it is located inside the station, you can use Suica in addition to cash at the food ticket machine.

Instead of handing your meal ticket to the staff, you can find an empty seat.

Once it's completed, you'll be called using the number written on your meal ticket, so you can go pick it up.

Morning soba

My rule at standing soba is to eat kakiage soba, but this time I chose ``Kakiage soba''.Choshoku Soba (Breakfast Soba) (420 yen)”.

As for the composition, the soba noodles are topped with wakame and wild vegetables, and you can choose between a raw egg or a hot egg, so I chose the hot egg.

By default, green onions are served on a separate plate.

Soba Noodles

You can see soba grains in the noodles themselves, and you can feel the flavor of soba itself.

Tsuyu (Dipping Broth)

It has a soup stock feel, but the soup is a salty type of soy sauce.

toppings

The texture of wakame is similar to that of the dried type.

Is it like boiling in water, which is common for wild vegetables?

The hot balls also felt like normal hot balls.

Impressions

Kakesoba (udon) costs 400 yen and only has soba noodles and green onions, while Choshoku Soba (Breakfast Soba) (udon) costs 420 yen and is topped with green onions, wakame, wild vegetables, and hot egg.

Although it is only available until 10:00, I think it is quite good value for money.

The taste is generally average, but considering the fact that you can eat it in the morning, the time it is served, the taste, and the cost performance, I think it's acceptable.

In terms of calories, it's lighter since there's no tempura, so you might think this is good for dieting, or you'll get hungry quickly. . It's up to you whether you view it negatively or not.

Tokyo Station is huge, like a maze, but there are surprisingly few stand-up soba restaurants.

It seems that it is difficult to manage a restaurant unless it is a high-priced restaurant, rather than a low-margin, high-sale business like standing-up soba restaurants.

I think that the price range where you can eat casually is decreasing due to the rush of price hikes in addition to shops with high unit prices, so I think this is a valuable shop within Tokyo Station.
