Sado Kaiten Sushi Benkei Sado main store

[Closed] Sushi Bar Benkei Kanda branch

The turnover rate seems to be high during times when fewer people drink alcohol, such as during lunch.
How to Order
Payment methods: cash, credit card, various electronic money, QR code
Orders are placed from a tabletop tablet.
For things like refilling the tea in your tablet, you verbally ask the craftsman or store clerk in front of you.
What I received: 12 pieces in total
『Tokyo Internal Barshow2025After participating in the event, I had drunk a lot of alcohol, so I decided not to order beer or sake and just focus on nigiri.

Now, I will introduce all the types that I received.
1st piece: Nanban shrimp
First of all, speaking of Niigata and Sado,Nanban shrimp (352 yen)”.
It has a sticky texture and a sweetness that spreads from the moment you put it in your mouth.
Each nigiri is served in pieces, and the price is for one piece.
The craftsman right in front of you will make the pieces for you, and you can enjoy them freshly made.
2nd piece: Red sea bream

Next is “Red sea bream (176 yen)”.
It's sticky and watery, and you can really taste the flavor of the sea bream.
3rd piece: Natural yellowtail
Photo right
Speaking of Niigata and Sado, this is also ``Natural yellowtail (132 yen)”.
It has no odor and you can feel the fat.
It's unbelievably cheap to be able to eat at this price.
4th piece: Filefish liver
Speaking of Benkei, this is ``Filefish liver topped (176 yen)”.
The liver is rich and a bomb of flavor.
The meat has a moderate texture and a stable taste.
Gari
I get the impression that the gari is commercially available.
The texture is sweet, and when you bite into it, you can feel the spiciness of the ginger.
3 pieces of light
There are also sets that are a little cheaper than ordering each piece individually.
So, ``3 pieces of light objects (440 yen)”.
The contents are horse mackerel, Japanese horse mackerel, and Kohada.
5th piece: Horse mackerel
It doesn't have a bad smell, but I have the impression that the flavor is a bit lacking.
6th piece: Toroiwashi
As the name suggests, it has a lot of fat and is delicious with no odor and a strong flavor unique to blue fish.
7th piece: Kohada
Although it has a strong acidity, it also feels greasy.
8th piece: Grilled herring
The light objects were generally delicious, so I added some light objects.
『Grilled herring (132 yen)” is also fatty, and the fat is even more pronounced when it is seared.
It has a lot of flavor and is delicious.
9th piece: whelk shellfish
『Shellfish (176 yen)” has a crunchy texture, and when you chew it, the sweetness comes out.
3 pieces of tuna
At the end, ``3 pieces of tuna (935 yen)” I asked.
The contents are lean, medium-fatty, and large fatty.
10th piece: Lean meat
It has a strong impression of iron, but it's not bad.
11th piece: Medium Toro
The iron taste is modest, and you can feel the flavor and fat of the tuna.
12th piece: Toro
The impression is that the iron-like taste of the medium-fatty fatty tuna has been toned down, and the fat and flavor have been added.
Of all the tuna, the fatty tuna was the most delicious.
Impressions + evaluation
The bill was 2,519 yen for 12 pieces.
The price per piece varies from around 130 yen to around 400 yen, but on average it costs around 200 yen.
I think the taste will exceed the level of 200 yen per piece, so if you think about it, the cost performance is good.
However, when asked if it is the best option, it is difficult to answer.
Maybe it's because they just opened, but I felt like the operations were still a bit shaky, so I'd like to visit again after a little while.
Since it is located inside the ticket gate, the number of users is limited, so the lines are small, so try visiting when you are changing trains at Ueno Station.
Taste: ★★★⯪☆ (3.5)
Cost performance: ★★★★☆ (4.0)
Revisit: ★★★⯪☆ (3.5)
